Road condition along Gerik Highway (credit to http://pplater.blogspot.com)

Lovely lovely green.

Nice sweeping corners.

I love the tarmac.

Will post the weather condition 7 days before we move.
At least we can plan something... get your self a rain jacket for your bags too.

Changes in plan :
1. We might reach Penang in the evening. Najib z750s will join us from Taiping and he'll brief us his prepared activity for us during the TTS.
2. We gonna take the Sungai Petani route, not going to Kulim, the route from Baling to Gerik is much nicer. So have to forget going to Pengkalan Hulu.
3. We gonna take the beach road going towards Kuala Terengganu.
4. I don't know Kota Bharu that much now, hopefully bro Fadhil will guide us to a nice dinner spot.

--------------------------------------------------------

Click on the image to enlarge it.

Trip preview :
We meet at Sungai Buloh RnR 09:00am . Fuel up here, there's an Esso station. Further up there's a Petronas at RnR Rawang. But try to fuel up where all members fuel as well, so no one is left behind and you'll not cause any delay to other members.
I'm sure you guys know well about the PLUS highway (E1). So road condition is not a problem. Maybe we stop at Tapah check everything is OK. We have our first stop at Simpang Pulai (Hehehe... Ada rasa mau masuk sampai simpang Pos Slim pun OK..)

Then we head up to Penang. Insya-Allah we'll arrive there somewhere in the afternoon. Plenty of time for you guys to relax. Pergi ronda2 kat Penang, pekena pasembor, nasi kandar, asam laksa.. Huhuhu... lepak tepi laut, Gurney Drive, layan la perasaan anda di sana. Eddy's house got three rooms, should be comfortable for all of us (Thanks to him & his brother, Jeffry.)

We get out when everyone is OK. I think that will be about 10:00am. This one a little bit bother me, from Penang to Kulim and to Baling, the road is little bit heavy with traffic. Lorry drivers and traffic lights banyak sikit. Another alternative is we go up to Sungai Petani exit on PLUS E1 Highway and ikut Kuala Ketil, I don't know the road condition from Sungai Petani to Kuala Ketil, but I guess it's not that bad for a superbike to go through. Difference in distance is just 26km.
I think you'll enjoy Baling-Pengkalan Hulu-Gerik-Banding-Jeli Route. This will be ultimate for knee dragging and lots of sweeping corners. The view is also breath-taking. Enjoy your ride at this point. We'll have our lunch at Gerik, make a stop at Pulau Banding.

Bridge to Pulau Banding.

The corners.
(jangan takut.....)

Road condition. A+++!

We'll get to Jeli around 01:00-02:00pm. Top up somemore fuel here. Alternatively, if you guys not that tired and still want somemore, we can go down to Dabong. Boleh lepak kat Gunung Stong, layan air terjun. If we head from Jeli-Jerteh, route is a 92km only, but for Jeli-Dabong-Kuala Krai-Jerteh, huhu... a boost to 195km. The route you all have expereince before, but Dabong to Kuala Krai is a one way lane, small kampong road... (macam Gua Musang nak masuk simpang hway GM-Simpang Pulai.. remember?). I'm OK je... Huhuhu...

So sampai Jerteh dlm petang kita rehat, lepak-lepak jap. That evening I'll go get some fresh fish at Kuala Besut, they sell just along the road. Maybe we make ourselves some ikan bakar after we get out to Kota Bharu and have dinner that night. But it's all up to the majority. Next morning have to wake up early, like 07:00am. I'll take you to the best nasi berlauk in the country. We have to travel like 10km from Jerteh to Kuala Besut, it's not that far, and the road is just a straight line all the way. Pakai seluar jeans or panjang, nanti satu kampong tgk ada pakai seluar hawai... hehehe.. segan lak aku nanti.

There is a hot spring water or kolam air panas situated 31.4km down south from Jerteh. I personally never swim there, just into that area. So if there's no rush, we can go there for a legally nature spa.

We pick our gear like 10:00am and head down to Kuala Terengganu. There are alternative also here. The road from Jerteh-Setiu-Permaisuri-Kuala Terengganu is being upgraded. Last trip I went there few months ago is still not being finished. We can try jalan pantai, Jertih-Penarik-Merang-Batu Rakit-Kuala Terengganu, got some construction as well, but very nice scenery, we'll ride just few meters away from the beach. The original proposed route is 106km, the alternative is just 112km. I was thinking of proposing this route as well. I don't remember any fuel station along the way, but that is not a problem. Can stop at those beautiful sites as well. Hmm... Great idea too.

Reach at Kuala Terengganu at noon, grab ourselves some lunch. And we head down to Kuantan. Merchang and Kerteh also got some road upgrading in progress. At Kuantan we eat seafood at Tanjung Lumpur, then shoot to Termerloh RnR, and safely head home to KL.

Any more ideas are welcome. I must stress that there are no commitment in this ride. And we don't have to be in someplace at certain time. There is no rush in riding and we all wait for all members to check in at every checkpoint. What's important is relax and enjoy the ride. We'll discuss this more in TTS this Friday. See you all there.

Update (18/10/2008 11:53A.M.)
1. After our discussion, there are minor changes in the route from Penang to Gerik. Insted of the original plan Penang-Kulim-Baling-Pengkalan Hulu-Gerik, we will go up to Sungai Petani, exit there, through Kuala Ketil, on the Kuala Pegang bypass and head down to Baling. From Baling, will take the Baling-Gerik expressway, the road are claimed to be as nice as in Pulau Banding. So there's no going through Pengkalah Hulu (hu.hu..hu... no tom yam la..), skip that and set out next checkpoint to Gerik. The road is not showned in google maps, but it's is there. :)

2. From Jerteh, we'll take the beach road to Kuala Terengganu.

3. I'll update the map on Monday.

Akrapovic Optional Link Pipe for ZX10R 2008

From the Akrapovic catalog :
"Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON OPEN +optional link pipe system on the Kawasaki ZX 10R (without noise damper):
Power & Torque: The Akrapovic SLIP-ON system will deliver a big power and torque increase from a simple modification. Power output is smoother over the entire rpm range. We measured a max. power of 171.6 HP at 12350 rpm on back wheel and max. power increase of 10.3 HP at 12400 rpm. The torque is increased over the entire rpm range, which is exceptionally useful for more comfortable and smooth riding. With our SLIP-ON systems you will also save 3.48 kg in comparison with the stock muffler."

I didn't blog when I install the slip-on. I've always been a fan to Akrapovic. The finishing and performance are excellent. I ordered my slip-on with the optional link pipe because the full system is too damn expensive. Attaching a slip-on is mainly for the sound. Akra is unique for me, the noise is well kept on the low rev and it'll sing high note on high rev. Just great when getting home late at night from TTS without waking up the neighbours.

I ordered mine from Mok Motor. Who else for me? Hehe... the link pipe has been misordered. So that day I just installed the slip-on. I want to test my bike for a few months first before modding the exhaust. So I can appreciate how the Akra feels. It was great in torque, but I sacrifice the top-end. On Sepang straight in standard, it could reach up to 280km/h at the end, but on the Akra I could only manage 265km/h. No PCIII is installed, but that must be it. It's still runs on the standard ECU programming.

After close to three months, Mok gave me a call, jus like Ah Meng, "Wei... itu link pipe sudah sampai liau...". Hehehe... another music to my ears.

The link pipe. It's made from a stainless steel. But it'll stain anyway.
Hollow.. nothing is inside.

Goodies that comes together with it. Nothing much, no manuals. The manuals are shipped with the slip-on.

This one have to go. Hehe... Akra claims it save me 3.48kg, but I just gain weight 5kg.
Every action has an opposite and equal reaction. That's why I'm playing futsal!

Ah Wah is fitting it. He only use the hammer.
Nahh.... I'm just kidding.

Easy as 1, 2, 3. Perfect fit.

I managed to get a MotoGP voice out of this bike for a while. And I was thinking on holding to this config. Hmm... Bad idea.

The looks after finish isn't noticeable. Just like a standard.
...and I'm loving it.

Overall, the RPM increase much more better, smoother. Since it's is direct now, the sound are much more excellent too. How does it performs? Gonna wait for tomorrow.

15.11.08 22:02 : Update :

I've tried the slip on with the link pipe for about three weeks now. Previously I use the stock for 3 months, and just the slip-on for another 3. I love it! There is no backfire, and I didn't even do any mapping or install a PCIII yet. I've ask few riders behind me and they confirmed there was never a back fire from this setup. This must means that the mixture of air and fuel are well. But a PCIII of course will make sure it went well from all the RPM range. The torque improvement is very noticeable, it has been notice since the slip-on was installed. But with link pipe, it is much more smoother throughout the RPM, you'll love the low and mid. Top range is not that good. RPM ranging from 10k-13k is a little disappointment, but acceptable for the performance gain. Sounds great too, especially on the high range.

My next step is the BMC air filter, still in dilemma over race and street version, then probably the PCIII.

Get yours now!

Previous thread is here :
http://300kmj.blogspot.com/2008/10/300kmj-sticker-logo.html
Hehe... I got this sticker cut at Pak Su. The template is saved in his computer so you guys can just get it there.

Reflective white on a candy plasma blue.

Mine one are just plain black, the blogger logo background change to yellow or else it'll be fade by my pearl wildfire orange.

Nice touch too on a matte black. Should be nice too on the Kawa classic green.

Brembo 19RCS Radial Brake Master Cylinder

I got a call from Ah Meng on the Saturday before the MotoGP. "Wei! Your brembo arrived already!". Heh heh... It was a music to my ears. So I set a date with him yesterday 8:00p.m. and get them master cylinder fitted.

Once I arrived, Ah Meng give me this package. On top of it is a price tag with a THANK YOU note. You're welcome! Sorry I forgot to set my cam ISO to the lower setting, I used 3200 when shooting us playing futsal the other day.

Contents of the package. All the sponge has been thrown away. There's the master cylinder pump, microswitch and a feet of cable, manuals and sticker for each side of the bike.

This why they call it micro switch.
Awesome.. no need to mod or add another switch like the previous Brembo pump.

The main unit.

Disassembling the stock radial master cylinder made by Nissin.

Hmm.. I wonder how to get into Sepang turn 1 without having a front brake. It's a suicide.

Radial master cylinder give you more feed back compare to the conventional master cylinder, which usually the pump is located horizontally . By logic, you can get a much better feel if the pump direction you're controlling is the same direction of the lever you're pulling. I spot a lot of technology being implemented on the 19RCS. From what I read, the 19RCS is made from forged aluminum alloy. The unique features of the 19RCS is the capability to switch between 19x18 and 19x20 configuration. If you wonder what's the numbers stands for, 19 is the diameter of the cylinder in mm. Where mostly the size that most high performance master pump use. It's an ideal size, where balance for performance meet. Some OEM Brembo such as for Yamaha uses 16mm. 18 and 20 is the distance between the lever's pivot point and the plunger that pushes into the cylinder, in mm as well.

The 19RCS is set to 19x20 configuration. Recommended for street use.

The 19RCS is set to 19x18 configuration. You'll notice the push rod moved closer to the lever pivot point. The red label tells you that the Brembo is ready for an extreme action. This is recommended for racing. Since the push rod move closer to the pivot point, you need to pull the lever more than in 19x20 configuration to get the same braking effect.

Fitting the Brembo. Suddenly my heart start pounding faster. Not sure why, maybe I thought the breaking will be too excellent. Then I'm thinking about Ducati and R1 brakes, if those guys can do it, so could I.

Ah Meng voluntarily throw in the Motul DOT5.1 brake oil. I must say that DOT4 is far good enough for my kind of riding. But it ain't much of a big deal. DOT5.1 needs to service regularly, compare to DOT4, but it can stand more heat.

DOT5.1 is much more sensitive when it's expose open to air. It's suck the humidity much more then other DOT class. A few minutes doesn't hurt thou.

The 19RCS comes with a folding lever, in case you high or lowsided your bike, the lever is fold from the impact so it won't brake. Will save you a hundred ringgit from the repair bill. But I not planning on going down, hopefully. :)

Eeee... What's that? Can change setting ah?

Previously I upgraded my hose cable to HEL steel braided hose. I also throw in EBC HH pads.

Vacuum sucker is a handy tool to bleed your brake oil. Old fashion way still usable, where they use syringe, but this one make it much easier.

Finished install. The Brembo and Italy color tag is a nice touch.

This one will be kept safe for a while.

Mr. Kevin, another ZX10R owner looks interested in the product too. Hey, I'm not selling this Brembo, just sharing a nice product that I know.

The feel is great! I can't wait to test it on the tracks. I highly recommended these upgrades.

Futsal!!!

Well, finally, we played futsal! I was amazed with Najib for bringin' his whole team. Without him and his friends, I don't think we could ever build up one futsal team. I set up with bro Kiff on Wednesday to play at section 13, Petaling Jaya. Like before, it almost got canceled as usual. But Najib saves the day. And yes, finally I played!

Playing on a 3 court is not for a lazy guy like me.
I don't think I could survive 10 minutes.

Najib and his gang, about 11 of them including me.
So we up for 5 a team. They arrived about 10:30pm and the next free court is an hour later.

My wife and kid joined me. But since it's getting late, I have to sent them home first.

Pojie. Lot's of skill action coming from him.

Told you.

A cigarette is a healty way after a great exercise.

Full of funs.

Err... about the cigarette, I'm bluffing. This one does the job.

Then after, we head down to Section 14 for a mini TTS. It was raining. But we're not bikers that night, all of us drove.

This guy love to pose.

Maggie goreng then after. Hmm... need to play futsal every day la like this.

MotoGP Sepang F1 Circuit 2008 - Part III

From Sepang, Mr. Badrul organized a dinner for us with Vendetta Motor from Indonesia.
We head down to Bagan Lalang. Lot's of nice seafood there, the Senandung Malam Seafood are our usual. It's located exactly 26.5km from the grandstand area. The cook is one of the best there, if you haven't tried any, it is well recommended.

Some group photos I manage to take :

The early birds. This group rides.

Photo with Vendetta group, they came later with a bus and some of them are still in the bus.

The whole pack, except for Tok Mat I think, he's already hold the fork and spoon.

In a split seconds, everyone else in their seat.

Clockwise : Ketam masak apa, udang masak merah, ikan jacket bakar, pepahat masak chili, sotong goreng tepung, kupang rendam, ikat kerapu tiga rasa (ayam udang sotong...hehehe)

Time to dine.

Amir trying to signal something.

...and abg Ad get confused.

Not enough roof to occupy us.
Mr. Badrul is the one on the left.

My doing. I cleared some of my plates so it'll look just nice.
Pepahat is common among seafood lovers, but I myself discover this when I'm in my 20s.
Give it a try if you haven't tried any.

Err.. all of that are shared with others OK?
I try to clear all of them. But I was just too full.

After the meal, Abg Suindra needs at least 20min to get up from that chair.

Tok Mat share his words of wisdom.

Stressing and smoking is the usual after the meal.

While tutoring to Bedah, Epol can sing opera.
Not sure Bedah enjoys it or not.

It's fun to get a superbike, but being like them again is much more fun.
"Datangla lagi..." said one of the boys. I guess the are the locals here.

Fino with the 250cc MotoGP World Champion, Simoncelli. We all honoured despite of winning the world champion, he still got a spare time to hang out with us.

Sunset is coming. Quite a nice view too here.
Pity the sea isn't as nice as on the east side.. but still OK to dive in.

To many blue.

After being encourage by few of this bikers, Epol call up to check where and when is the next Akedami Fantasia. Damien seems to like the idea.

Freshening up before the departure.

On the way back, we are all caught in the rain just after Sungai Pelek, but doesn't seem a sign that anybody is stopping. Najib and his langkawi buddies took the KLIA expressway, heading straight to Putrajaya. Amir follows him. There was me, Poji, Bedah, Epol, Tok Mat, Sifoo Is, Abg Ad and Hamdi left. We sat down at Epol place, having a coffee and wait for the rain to stop.

A hot glass of coffee are just perfect.
My Nokia 3110c survive every aspect of a bikers demand.

Reductil & a pack of Dunhill, a kit for bikers who usually go for TTS.

So that's the end of the day. Hopefully next year will get together again.
Again, we appreciate all Mr. Rahman & Epol doing. All the best to both of you.

MotoGP Sepang F1 Circuit 2008 - Part II

Okay... Abg Rahman book us the corporate suite, no. 7 to be exact. It a long way walk from the gate to the suite. The Sepang straight is 927.543 meters, so the walk is like almost the same distance, with the hot weather plus the gear. I was thinking of keeping the gear there first then only I'll enjoy walking around.

The concierge is really friendly & professional. He never put away his smile thought out the whole day. Muahahaha.....

It's my first time to be in the suite. Last year it was the K1 grandstand. But the K1 is where you can feel the action is very very close.

After trimming down our body temperature in the air conditioned suite, me, Bedah and Pojie plan to go for a walk. Ah Meng give me a call and ask to help him get the MSS pass from Sifoo Is. I volunteered. So we walk to the across the track through the tunnel and get to the side of the pit.

Ah... the only thing that stand in our way from getting to the starting grid is that gate and the blue uniform. Pojie is planning an escape plan.

This is the allowed pass. Next year I want to get this poster and start printing my own pass. I'm sure they can't tell the difference.

Quite crowded at the grandstand area. But this is just half of it. We are placed in the other side of the track. It covers turn 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. Other turn can be watch from the monitor screen.

Uhh... how I wish I could get a collection of tyre like this.

Even the BMW M6 struggles to keep up with the MotoGPs. At the first lap, when the last bikes stars to enter turn 15, the M6 is just exiting turn 9.

Crash bike are sent to the end of the pit area.

We have the opportunity to pose ourselves like the public trying to pose on our bike.
Same same huh?

Ouch... let me know where you throw the rim please.
And that brake caliper should take 14Gs out of your bank account.

Sports shooting is too damn expensive.
All those camera and lens they carrying could easily reach up to Rm 400K.

Bedah D700. Hmm...

Lorenzo walking pass us while our fingers are missing from the snap button.
.
.

The Kentucky Kid.
.
.

Huhu.... is it true, Randy Mamola is in town too?
"Randy!" Bedah shout... he looked.
.
.

Toseland entering his bunker.
.
.

Rossi is cheered and escorted to the staring grid.
He shows an outstanding sportsmanship.
.
.

We are still too amazed with what we're seeing, and still have that finger cramp.
Stupid!

These marshall is up for a surprise by the end of the race.

Ah Meng actually went to get some pass for us to enter the pit. Since I'm with Bedah and Pojie, getting 3 passes is actually like an impossible mission. We waited the whole 125cc and 250cc race hoping to get through that gate. But once we saw Rossi going to the grid, it's either be gone or gone forever. We come short to wait another second. We left. Huhuhu...

So, back to the suite.

Najib who looks like the concierge guy, educated his wife about MotoGP. He always like that one...

The crowd at the other end...

Pedrosa and Rossi is back to back on the early lap...

Dovizioso not giving them a hard time enough... but made fantastic shows with the Kentucky Kid.

Every angle are covered by this monitor. Just nice up to 40 person. Cold soda included.

Lap times, statistics and positions are all display in real-time.
Woooowwww....

The famous incident at SIC after the race.
I pity that boy, but again it is a valuable lesson to him.
And a lesson he should have.
But from the looks of it, he's not learning anything.
So, I pity that boy.

Look.. look.. see.. see... How we enjoyed the show after the race.
Don't bother commenting on Pojie.

Mr. Badrul... postmortem after the race.

Mr. Khairul...

Mr. Leftover.

Woohooo... Nabil pun ada... Lu fikir la sendiri!

Crowd after the race. MSS race are in progress at this time.
The sky looks like it's gonna rain... but Bomoh hujan still have some more tricks left, it's not happening soon enough.

Nice time to shop for a gear..

Custom bikes are also on display.

Really an eye cather.

So is this... not sure what note on that wheel. Too big to be a parking ticket.

No clucth, no brakes, no odometer, no cable, no mudguard, no cables, no chain, no engine, no gearbox. Yes.... it's a bicycle.

Wah... I'm shocked! The F800GS is in town. I want one!
Wow! Price ar RM79.9K (err... that's like USD $22,640.97) it is quite cheap for some guys.
Yeah... right.

I never like the styling.. but I still love it.

Pretty ass.

Wah... Drooling and dreaming.
But keep them coming.
I want one.

I'm liking it... so I post more of it.
This is a true touring colour.

Lefty bike.

Simple.. but ain't cheap.

The sibling... F650GS. Will not be available as new here. Kamal from BMW said there will be only 10 which will be use in the launching, price new at RM71K, it'll be sold as used for RM66K.
Quite a bargain... but will be quite hard to sell if the F800GS is already in town.

Can-am the three legged spider.

It even have a boot/trunk.

999cc if I'm not mistakem.
They'll open up a 3S (sales, services and spares) center later next year somewhere at Sunway. Might boost some sale, but the Spider it self are not that convenient for Malaysian. It doesn't solve anything.

Belt drive.

Time to go.. That Bedah end can will end tomorrow (I just got his IM, his getting the MIVV). Huhu... Lovely. Would be nice if I can blog it.

Fino is smart. He purposely left his bike with just a liter of petrol left. That way if there's ever been his bike get stolen, that guy will have the same episode like Bedah.

The Petronas Petrol Station Sepang are packed. We are heading to Bagan Lalang. Abg Rahman belanja lagi... The dinner is supposed to be with Vendetta Motor Club from Indonesia for RM40 per head, Hmm... moga abg Man murah rezeki selalu.

Still waiting for some members filling up. Long Q means long time.

Qued and ready to roll. I'll tell the story in the next part.

To be continue here :

Incident at Sepang MotoGP 2008

This is another highlight of the day that Mat forgot to tell you, it happened right in front of our air-conditioned executive room (thank you Abg Man) and kudos to advocatt of superbikemalaysia.com & triatmono for this footage.

The crowd getting annoyed and starts throwing cans, bottles and anything they could get their hands on but those 'anak luar nikah' seems to be cherishing their 15 seconds of fame.

This is a footage of those bumbling idiots got beaten up by the MotoGP marshall. What this group of idiot and bum has done will surely scar not only SIC reputation but also the fans as well.

Thankfully no one especially the rider was hurt that day. Ohh except for that stupid son of a B!+©# and Casey Stoner fans ego muahahaha

MotoGP Sepang F1 Circuit 2008 - Part I

Huhu... MotoGP is in town! I couldn't slept the day before. I know I have to wake up early but my eyes aren't tired. Finally I force them to shut at 5am. And at 7.30am, I'm fresh again. I meet up with Abg Suindra and Fino and we cruise to RnR Nilai where we meet Sifoo Is, Pojie and Epol. Few more bikers are there as well. I parked my bike in front of a bus full of student. They ask my permission to take picture and if OK to jump on the bike. I remember once I'm used to be like this too, so how could I say no.

I'm sure their are having fun.

So here we are. RnR Nilai, we need to be at Petronas Sepang Circuit by 11am. So plenty of time to chit chat and breakfast. We are still waiting for Bedah and Amir to come.

135lc is the hottest kapcai now. And they are hot as well. A group of them on the way to enjoy the show too.

Then RnR Nilai is full of bikers. I count mentally about hundreds of bikes. About 10:30am, we pick up our gear and head down to Sepang.

Not expecting it, I saw Bedah slowing down in the convoy from behind. Pojie tried to aid him, trying to keep Bedah's wheel spinning but that would be just too hard on a superbike. He did say his fuel are low, the bet on reaching to Sepang doesn't pay. So I joined the sunbath and Pojie go to get some gas.

I guess I take out my camera and snap some shots. Bedah already says that standard can will have to go.. He's already a regular at Muzzy, MIVV, Termignoni, Laser, Akrapovic, Yoshimura, Two Brothers, Racefit, Jardine, Arata websites.

While I just find it's nice to snap some pics, Bedah practicing his panning skills. He's a fast learner. His dad love photography... Bapa borek, anak rintik.

Nikon awesome d700 with 24-70/f2.8 lens. Huhu... itu cari makan punya camera.

..and I'm in need of a 70-200/f2.8 lens, with a teleconverter please... please... The Sony lens price already dropped, but it's still unreachable for me.

Hey.. that's me. Naaahhh... that's looks like me. The ZX10R looks awesome on the road.. must be that what everyone is thinking when they see me huh? Muahahahahaa.....

The ZX6R not bad as well... (that's bcoz I've used to own one as well.. Muahahaha....again!)
Yeay... It's Pojie to the rescue. Thumbs up from him either reacts to my lens or it's AOK, everything will be fine.

..a one and a half liter should be enough to get to the next gas station.

All set up and ready to roll... No harm done.

At Petronas, Abg Ad, Din, Khairol and Hamdi are already there. Najib came with his bikers friend from langkawi. Thanks to Abg Rahman, we got ourselves a corporate suite. Will be comfortable enough for us. And air-cond room with monitors in a hot day like this enjoying MotoGP, nothing else could be better.

Din mod his GTR with some awesome gadgets. Note the round engine on/off switch, pack himself with a siren and flashing lights. If he paints it white and put some PDRM stickers on the side, I think he'll be unstoppable.

Too lazy to put my cam back in the pouch, I was thinking to snap some pics while on the move.
It's a bad idea... so this is the closest I can get.

Never snap like this while I'm on board. I want to snap like this while doing 250km/j. Can ah? Next 10 years I hope they'll make a bullet size D-SLR with Bluetooth/WiFi remote control. That will be just awesome ain't it?

So here we are. This is the Sepang executive parking are, and we are the executives. Hehe...

The man responsible for all of this the guy with the light blue Sepang t-shirt on the right side of this pic.

Abg Ad distributing the tickets. An hour before the 125cc starts.

We love to take each others pics.

People do love to snap themselves with bikes.

Nice and orderly mannered parked.

See.. see...

Epol the event manager.

Mr. Rahman, the man I shot his backside few snaps ago. Thanks to him again and Pemurah for making this happen. I'm amazed with his way towards friends, maybe his happy to see his friend happy. Otherwise I think it's just all too much trouble for this. Anyway I'm sure everyone appreciate his sincerity and all the trouble to let us enjoy the show.

One satisfied crowd.

...another satisfied crowd.

Make way for him... errr.. his side mirror cover must have left somewhere between Penang and Johor.

Some more public posing on our bike... no wonder Fino can't help thinking what's will happen to his bike.

Entering the grandstand area. More will come on the second part here :

300kmj Sticker & Logo

I just want something simple and easy to read. The blogger icon has been there since Fino post this site. I feel like it's meant to stick there and credit for Google.
These are the stickers for bike's fairing and helmets. And official ganas punya logo will come out shortly.

The background color is just an example to match your bike paint. The sticker will be borderless and will be cut by it's font shape. Will need a little skill to stick them at your bike since the backslash and the dots are kinda hard to handle.

The straight one are for the bike, the rounded one are for the helmet. We can have reflective material also for the sticker. File will be e-mail to Pak Su, you guys can just ask them to cut it for you.

Tireflys Part II

I've about about Tireflys here:
http://300kmj.blogspot.com/2008/10/tireflys-lights-for-your-wheels.html

It was sharp at noon, I went outside and had a cigarette. The postman came by and delivery a package labeled from USA. Hehe... I'm kinda happy because I know it's the Tireflys I've ordered October the 6th. Nothing to sign, I just waited until the postman left. That few seconds is kinda too long. Hehehe... I get outsite and take my cam... I'm feeling to blog it.

The package had my name on it. No tax because the parcel cost not more that RM 500.00. I option the priority USPS mail, so I had to fork about RM80 for the shipment. I don't mind, but wait until I had to pay my credit card later on. Hehehe...

I thought I ordered 4 sets, but it's actually 5, I ordered 2 sets of Microflys, since I thought it's the best to fit on the bike. The Tireflys Pro will actually look too big on the valve stem.

Hey... It's lid up when I lift it. Yup.. it's activated by movement.

Know you'll know it's kinda pretty small for the Microflys. Perfect for bikes.

This is the Tireflys Pro with 3 LED, so the size is a little bit bigger.

The one color Tireflys pro size.

Huh... this damn dog again. This one had personal issues with me.

I'll post how the Tireflys goes in actual action. Stay tune.

Project Futsal

My might be a laughing matter, but I'm dead serious. Bro Kiff plays futsal every Wednesday 08:00pm-10:00pm at Section 13, Petaling Jaya. To equip ourselves with better stamina in tackling the Sepang track, I'm proposing we make ourselve a team and beat the hell out of Kiff's boys (Hehehehe....). We'll make this as a regular agenda, TTS will commence then after (ye la... dah penat berpeluh kena isi pulak dgn nasi kandar kaw kaw... hehehehe).

My count list who's OK to join:
1. Mat
2. Pojie
3. Bedah
4. Epol
5. Syam*
6. Fino*
7. Eddy

Any members are welcome to join. We'll start on the 29th this October K?

Kuala Selangor Ride - Tok Mat's Inlaw Tahlil

The story began at Sunvay Cycle again. I've announced the ride will be to Kuala Selangor, attending Tok Mat's sister in-law tahlil. So here we are gathered sharp 10am and waiting for some more members. Sifoo Is homesick since last Tuesday TTS, hope you'll recover ASAP. I'm hitting my keypad on Sunday afternoon, so I guess there's no Sunday ride huh? After raya I guess everybody is busy attending friends open house and such... Hehe.. Mana lagi open house boleh kami serbu ni?

Yup... busy organizing as usual for our Bro Epol.

He got something to say about his E90. But I think he'll wait for the right moment there.

We head down to McD at fifteen. Grabs some hot coffee before we start our journey. All of the sudden, I felt RM2.95 for a cup of tea is too damn expensive.. Might be because my account balance a now left 3 figures... Heh heh...

We do 200kmh only OK?
Believe me, that can be a believable statement came out from Tok Mak... I think everyone get off from their seat.. Hehe.. Kidding.

So we got off. I really need to find a way to document on-bike ride.. hehe.. without costing too much I hope. The journeys is like 40 minutes. From Subang we get out to NKVE, exit to Shah Alam, and get to Batu Arang. The road is a little bit bumby from there and it's a two way jalan kampung, have to be really careful since the junction is a little bit blind. There is a scene where Epol yell Maggie inside his helmet, suppose Maggie could hear him, but no incident really happen. Alhamdulillah.

So we safely arrive to Tok Mat place and we have to cross our bike on this :

I'm kidding again... If I got a million dollar in my account, and riding a GS, I'll give it a try. Actually this shot was taken after we eat and I was enjoying the beauty of our Malaysian nature.

But these boots is not meant for walking... on the footbridge.. It's meant only for show off and riding!

Our bikes enjoys the sunny shade parking space. I would too.

Arrived and relaxed. And ready for action.

Group photo to remember ourselves how we behave.

Some of the host family and friends preparing for guest.

Yeah.... Lunch is served.

The main menu is nasi ayam. The rice is cooked with gravy (is it the right word?) from chicken. The rice itself taste juicy chicken. I can eat the rice alone... but I'll be missing some more flavours. Nice done Tok!

Riding tips is always a discussion. Doesn't matter when and where.

But don't mind me. Hehe...

Still got kuih raya.

Somebody's eyes on us... I like this kind of shots.

Epol introduce what he's encounter this week. Eddy help him load a Garmin software inside his E90. He now know the convenient and easiness what this wonder device could do.

Mig is impress as well.

Now everyone is impress. TTS this Tuesday is specially for loading the GPS software. Get yourself ready. Huhuhu...

Time to go.. we salam our host and check ourselves to the nearest fuel station (according to Tok Mat). I think Epol got something to say here.. hehe.

Sentral ZZA filling station.

Ahh... the left is so relieving.. but the right need to be enjoyed elsewhere.

Tireflys / Lights For Your Wheels

I'm getting some of this. And it'll arrive by the end of next week.
We'll see how it goes. I'm trying my luck looking for a light for my wheels in a bicycle shop. But it ended frustrating. I even thinking of buying a sticker LED for handphones, but it gets activated by the phone frequency. So no luck there either.

Tireflys has some few range of product. Tireflys, Tireflys Pro, Tirelflys UV, Tireflys Microflys.
It'll looks cool.
I already change my valve stem to the angle one, but that's not stoping me from getting this fun stuff. Huhuhu....

The Tireflys Pro is made from billet aluminum. So I think it'll at least more durable for bike use. The sizing might be a little big for bike, well, that's what I said, will see how it's goes... And I can't wait.

The original Tireflys.

Bukak Puasa @ Tok Mat's Place

5pm we need to be at Petronas Sungai Besi. Sunvay Cycle at Ah Hoi's place is the meeting point. I got there with Sifoo Is and had to wait for Epol & Bo. But the clouds starts to hint us it'll be raining. I was hoping it can just pass... and it did after about 40 minutes.

The clouds getting dark.

...and the rain starts to fall.

Every two wheels in search for a shelter. It amaze me how Sifoo Is can find for both of us an exclusive relaxing place in the station.

So here it is, we finally arrived at Sunvay about 6.15pm. Bedah, Khairol, Amir, Najib, and Ah Hoi are already there.

Empty stomach... load of smiles.

Just happy knowing we gonna eat soon.

View of Ah Hoi shop, located at Bandar Sunway. Epol, Amir, and SIC bros are all regular here.

The front entrance.

So we convoyed to Tok Mat's place. A barbecue place is waiting and Amir was fit for the job.

Tok Mat uses this charcoal. It was my first to see such product. I was amazed by it. It's a special briquette charcoal. The base materials is actually a oil palm shell charcoal, it is been crushed and mixed with burning starter before compressed to cylindrical shape. It is easy to start the fire without using any other burning material or fuel. And the box claimed it can last for 1 1/2 hours, and I think they did.

Epol never eat a lamb before.. he's not really into it.
Amir : This one for you to try. It's already dead.

Epol : Huish... stim gila!

Najib is educating Damien, Poji and Bedah.
Najib : No need to go gentle on the throttle. Twist it as much as you can. Your modern bike now are all so steady in high speed. Let alone in the straight line, the ZX14 & ZX6R can go 280-300 anytime.

...and see how that makes Bedah sweats.

Huhu... Control the serious look... control..
I'm glad that's over.

Group of bikers socializing.

Group of bikers wife socializing.

Group of pelapes anti-socializing. Gadgets is bad...!

I'm still am a little shy candid-ing an event. That's why I never got a good shot to show the foods and our host. Tok Mat was great, he is full of experience in biking. Huhu... Got a feeling will be playing scramler someday with him. I'm sure everyone leave happy with a full stomach. We then go for a quick TTS at Taman Desa and chit chat till 3am.

Many thanks from us for the invites. Hopefully I can host something in the Syawal month.
