When Honda release the V4 Concept bike in 2009, a few images leak on the internet and they reveal their concept bike at the INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne. These few pics may refresh your memory.

As it turn out, in 2010, Honda release this awesome VFR1200.

All the lines on the concept bike are being kept alive on this one. Even the rims are being closely replicated.

As what you can get from the net, the new V4 engines are to be shared on three VFR coded platforms, the VFR-S, which is the current VFR1200F and VFR1200D now, VFR-T, the rumored upcoming ST1300 replacement for sport touring machine, and the VFR-X, the one I would so much excited about, the reborn of the African Twin. There's a lot of VFR-T artist impression pictures on the net, but I myself would hate to see it if it's not the true one.

The current VFR1200 is a not a sports touring machine, if it is, it wouldn't come out like it is (it has a small tank and Honda would make it more ergonomic upright seating position to be in). The VFR should be in the hypersports section, where it is to compete with ZX14 and Hayabusa. I say you can put it as a Blackbird replacement - but the VFR have some advantages. One that I most like is, if you have the opportunity to take a seat on one, get your feet on the footpeg and move you crotch as near as possible to the tank, your sitting position is naturally relaxed as a sport tourer, if you move your crotch as far away as possible from the tank, you're then in the war mode, it's automatically position like a sportbike. Awesome design I must say.

Back to the VFR-X concept, here's what Honda giving us a clue for now :

I could only guess from the pictures... such as the headlamp wouldn't be a projection lamp like the Super Ténéré. Final drive would be shaft-driven, 6-speed, powered with V4 engine, they have to make less power out of this engine, yet tourqey and responsive. More Varadero oriented design. Will came out as a gold color. Blue signal lamp, not amber. (Just kidding). What ever it is, we can only imagine... but I can tell you the new V4 engine is one hell of an engineering marvels! Stay tuned!

2010 Yamaha XT660Z Ténéré

If you going up north or planning a long stretch riding holiday, I can't think of any better bike than this.

It's tag for RM71k on the road, with another RM 2,000.00 for the side panniers. Not a great deal if you kept BMW F800GS or Kawasaki KLR650 on the same list. But I would say it'll be a better bargain comparing what this bike a design for. It would just do as what the GS would.

I like those alum finish side and top box. It's would look more authentic and classic when it aged with bumps, scratch and mud all over it.

You can pack 23 liter of fuel in here.

Single Cylinder, SOHC, 4 Stroke, 660cc producing almost 48bhp @ 6,000rpm. Requires 3 bottles of Motul 1L oil for next service with some spare for the lubing the chain.

This reminds me so much of Mospeada.

Brembo's caliper for front and rear. I didn't notice it uses the same brand for the pumps.

September 8, 2009-Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that it has developed the Dual Clutch Transmission, the world's first* fully automatic motorcycle dual-clutch transmission for large-displacement sport bikes. The new transmission provides riders with a sporty riding experience, combined with easy operation and superior transmission efficiency, which delivers fuel economy equal to or better than a conventional manual transmission. The new VFR large-displacement sport bike equipped with the new transmission will be released in Europe and North America in 2010, with sales to commence in Japan at a later date.

This world's first motorcycle dual clutch transmission** features a light, compact design that allows it to be combined with existing engines without substantial layout modification. Further, the new transmission delivers the precise acceleration control which riders require thanks to electronic control technology that helps ensure smooth, seamless gear changes. Key Features

The new transmission features a dual clutch transmission configuration in which independent clutches are employed for the odd gears (1st, 3rd, 5th) and even gears (2nd, 4th, 6th), respectively. The two clutches operate alternately to effect gear changes. For example, when changing from 1st to 2nd gear, the computer detects the up-shift and engages 2nd gear, then releases the 1st-gear clutch while engaging the 2nd-gear clutch to achieve a seamless gear change. While some existing dual-clutch transmissions are bulky, the new system employs original technologies such as dual input shafts, an innovative in-line clutch design, and concentration of hydraulic circuitry beneath the engine cover to achieve a compact design. Compactness and lightness is further enhanced through the use of a simple shift mechanism design based on that of a conventional motorcycle shift drum. Optimised shift scheduling achieves fuel economy equal to or better than that of a fully manual transmission, enabling Dual Clutch Transmission to deliver both sporty riding and environmental performance combined.

It's a V-Twin 52 degree, SOHC 4 valve per cylinder 680cc engine. Adjustable windscreen. Tagged for USD $ 9,999.00 and USD $ 10,999.00 for the ABS version, means should be a lot cheaper than the CBR1000RR. Fuel injection, liquid cooled engine. Seat high is just 805mm. Carries 19.6l of fuel.

So, if you're a daily commuter and had been on a ST1300 or 1400GTR or even the Goldwing, I think you'll agree that those bike are not easily handle as a daily bike. But with this, it should be just fine and can also travel as well on those three. Like Honda themselve asked, "Luxury Tourer or Upscale Commuter? Why Not Both?"

This is the all new 2010 Yamaha YZ450F which will be revealed in the short coming time. It features a reverse cylinder engine, which locates the intake and exhaust pipe at the same side of the engine. You can notice the engine are located almost at the center of the bike since the can push the crank more into the chasis. The bike CG would be pretty much improved. Panasonic AG-HMR10 with AG-HCK10 Camera Head

Looks like Panasonic answer Sony's HXR-MC1 with this guy, but with some twist. Panasonic separates their recorder and camera head with this awesome POV solution. The AG-HMR10, which is the AVCHD recorder, connects to the AG-HCK10 camera head via HD-SDI connection. The awesome news is, AG-HMR10 could also accepts any other camera or signal as long as the connections are HD-SDI. How great is that! I still wonder how the AG-HCK10 camera heads powers up thou. The cable must be dedicated since it can carries power and audio as well. I can bet a lot of professionals will grab this recorder and be in the field for their awesome function.

AG-HMR10 accepts low cost Panasonic flash media solutions, the SDHC card, that can records up to 180min on a professional high quality mode in a 32Gb SDHC cards. Equipped with 3.5" LCD, HDMI & HD-SI output, speaker, mounting threaded holes. Features on the camera head is 12x optical zoom, 1/4.1" 3MOS sensor, built-in microphone, cable optional up to 10m. 1/4" socket mounting, 43mm lens filter size. You can control the Panasonic OIS, iris, focus, zoom remotely from the recorder when using this two combo.

The kinda not so great news is, the recorder alone will retail at USD $2,600 and camera head is USD $1,800.00. Street price is yet to confirm but Sony HXR-MC1 retail at USD $2,999.00. So, onboard high quality video shooting anyone?

BMW S1000RR tagged at $13,800 in The States

Yup. BMW has kept their promise that the new S1000RR will be priced slightly 10% higher that the Japs liter bike. They have set the price for the bike which would be available in December at USD $13,800, which is pretty competitive and might just win some sale from the other Japs.

Calculating from the Form 3 Math syllabus, ratio, a USD $ 11,799.00 bike is selling at RM 84,900 here in Malaysia. So, USD $ 13,800 would make the BMW S1000RR to be sold for RM 99,298! Pretty amazing huh! Considering the fact that AutoBavaria hold the same AP permit as the Kwaks. Hehe... AutoBavaria guys should have good laugh reading my post here. Oh well... Make them 2 years unlimited mileage warranty, you might steal a lot of sales out there... but the damn service bill have to be revised.

Don't worry... this one is out of my reach. I'm not on the BMW buyers list.

We usually get those new bike pics on September. But I can't help noticing this photoshop image which the artist rendered it almost so well.

Notice the "SUPERCHARGED". Don't think it will be there. Artist makes great touch up on the ZX6R exhaust with the 10R ends. Fairing from the 1400GTR and signal cover from the ER6nf. Nice!

The real news is, the new ZX14 for 2010 is rumored to have new chasis, engine and some more little bit tuning up to compete with the Bird of course. I guess you can spot on that the power delivery must be more than 200bhp we're talking about here. I'm more interested on knowing what's the Kawa is doing on their ZX10R.

Petrol RON95 diperkenalkan hari ini

Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP) memperkenalkan minyak Petrol RON95 hari ini - yang dijual pada harga RM1.75 seliter.

Dua stesen minyak Petronas di Presint 9 Putrajaya akan mula menjual minyak petrol RON95 hari ini dan esok diikuti negeri-negeri lain secara berperingkat-peringkat.

Ia dilancarkan oleh Menteri berkenaan, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Apabila digunakan sepenuhnya pada 1 Septermber, petrol RON95 akan menggantikan petrol RON92 yang kini dijual pada RM1.70 seliter.

Dan mulai 1 September juga, harga petrol gred premium - RON97 - akan dinaikkan kepada RM2 seliter.

Ismail berkata serentak itu RON92 akan dikeluarkan daripada pasaran.

Katanya sesuai dengan status sebagai produk premium, harga RON97 tidak akan dikawal oleh kerajaan berbanding RON95 yang merupakan produk harga tetap.

Menurut Bernama, Ismail berkata, kenaikan harga RON97 di pasaran tidak perlu membuatkan rakyat berasa panik kerana RON95 menawarkan kualiti dan prestasi yang sama hebatnya.

"Walaupun harga RON95 agak tinggi berbanding RON92 yang dijual pada harga RM1.70 seliter, namun ia lebih berkualiti dan dari segi prestasi, ia jauh lebih baik berbanding RON92," katanya kepada pemberita.

Menurutnya, keupayaan RON95 yang lebih tinggi membolehkan ia digunakan pada semua jenis kenderaan, termasuk kereta mewah yang diimport dari luar negara.

"Semua kereta boleh guna RON95 termasuk kereta yang berkuasa tinggi, berjenama mewah dan sebagainya. Jika sebelum ini kereta-kereta dari jenis itu menggunakan petrol RON97, kini mereka boleh beralih kepada RON95 yang lebih murah.

"Agensi kerajaan berkaitan menyokong penjualan RON95 malah perbincangan bersama industri kenderaan bermotor mendapati kebanyakan enjin yang diguna oleh kenderaan di negara ini sesuai menggunakan RON95," kata Ismail.

Kerajaan juga, katanya masih meneruskan pemberian subsidi kepada penjualan petrol sebanyak tiga sen seliter.

Gasahol vs Gasoline : Pumping for fuel in Thailand

In January 2007, Thailand has replace Regular 95 gasoline with 95 gasohol. Regular 91 gasoline are still allowed to survived but will be replace in stages until year 2012. So what is gasohol? And does it differ with our fuel?

Gasohol is actual a mixture of gasoline and alcohol, mostly ethanol. For the time being, Thailand gasohol is a mixture of 90% gasoline and 10% ethanol, coded E10. The mixture proportion is to be increase in later time. When? I don't have any idea. Can't read Thailand that good. Can't read Thailand at all!

Gasohol has been proven to have some disadvantages against gasoline. I experience 2 weird thing on my ZX10R while riding to Phuket early this month. Mr. Gibsi told me he felt his bike, which is the Kawasaki Z750s, underpowered after clocking 300km from Danok. I didn't really felt the effect since our riding pace are between 120-140km/h.

The first thing to be notice on the fuel is the color, looks like a Shell V-Power from the naked eye. It's set your mind that this fuel is already different.

The second thing is when we fuel up in Trang, I exposed my bike to a direct sunlight, with the temperature I guess that day felt like 32°C-33°C (or maybe higher). I've always fill up to the fuel reaches to the tank's lip. After just a few minutes, the fuel came out from the overflow pipe. This experience showed me the fuel is easily evaporated. An alcohol nature. From there I kept watch on where I parked my bike and always looking for a shaded area.

The third thing is while we on our way back to Danok from Phuket, we're on the highway 44 which is a long stretches of 100km going to Surat Thani. All five of us has a blast on our bike and my bike topped 300km/h with some effort to do so. On the 6th gear, when doing 260km/h, it felt like forever climbing to 300km/h. My bike are on a standard setup, and it never felt like this. So it is noticeable that the bike has loss some power. I do blame on the fuel. This prove to be right when we are back in Malaysia, after fueling at Petronas Bukit Kayu Hitam, then fill up again at Bukit Merah, the power come straight back again.

When we fill up at Pang Nga Shell Station on our way back, as always, I was just looking at the octane numbers. Kawasaki recommended a gasoline 95+ Octane and above for the ZX10R. So a pump with label 95 should do fine. Here, the pump attendant lift up the pump and said "Gasohol?". I'm a bit puzzle myself, if not, why do the pump attendant prompt me it's gasohol. Isn't it just a fuel? We didn't have any gasohol here, so what the heck gasohol actually is I really don't know. After safely arrived back only I did some digging on gasohol.

Digging on the web, there are no superbikes design to cope with gasohol. Manufactured vehicle for Thailand are actually design and approved to used gasohol since 1995. But bikes which are imported from Japan and Europe doesn't fit in the list.

So when riding in Thailand, it your not going for a long way journey, I think it should be safe to pump gasohol - for a short period. But if you planning a ride more than 10 fills up. Do try to look for gasoline.

Basic guide on the Thailand pump station is :

REGULAR 95 is labeled in Yellow

REGULAR 91 labeled in Red

GASOHOL 95 label is Orange

GASOHOL 91 label in Green

Although this might not correct for all pumps, it is mostly true for most of them. Do try to fuel in Shell, Caltex or PTT which is mainly a reputable gas station. My tips is, if you're bike can accept Ron 90+ and above, go for the Regular 91. Check the sticker label on your bike's tank, or check your bike's manual. But I guess, I can't confirmed because I didn't really notice, the price for Regular 91 is much more expensive than gasohol 95. Wait... Yup it's true. I've just browse the Net. Reg 91 somewhere 29.54 Baht (RM 2.99) and E10 Gasohol 95 is 25.74 Baht (RM 2.61). Notice Regular 95 is 36.64 Baht (RM 3.72) and only available from Petronas, Caltex, Susco and PT.

While gasohol advantage is that it might produce less emission, studied about 2% less than gasoline, it is reported to give less power than gasoline and lower mileage. Gasohol is also not friendly to older fuel injection and carburetors, even a new fuel injection which is claim to resist gasohol, it is not design for it. This case are meant on a superbike. Carburetors are claim can be damage with use of gasohol either in short or long term use and not very friendly to the plastic parts of the carburetors.

In other countries, there are arguement of using gasohol. But the noticable argument is about the cost of gasohol compared to the gasoline and is the consumer likely to gain advantage in using gasohol which in some country priced gasohol at gasoline price tag.

Cape Town to Victoria Falls

Spare 33 minutes of your time to watch this video. The journey is from Cape Town South Africa to Victoria Falls Park in Zimbabwe. This is my dream, minus the 5 star hotel. F800GS should do fine. A month without phone. Just a GPS, a sleeping bag, touring fits with a plastic card and a safe way to keep USD$10K in my pocket.

I'm ready to guide them from KL to Golden Triangle if they want another Ultimate Adventure. We're going on a Jap's SBK this time. Hehehe.

Hi Guys!

Yesterday TTS confirmed your route plan and launch hour which is on the 1st May 2009 at 06:30am at RnR Sungai Buloh. Here are the route.

Note :
1. Bring along passport, carrying bag, sandals, t-shirts, shorts or jeans, toothbrush & paste.
2. There is no speed limit set by the group, but highway speed limit is 110km/h and main road is 70km/h.
3. Your bike actually can go up to 300km/h or more.
4. Ride in zig zag formation if you want to stay in the main group, who want to be fast or slow, meet at the next checkpoint. Always try to ride with at least one other member.
5. Be punctual on the first meeting point, you should be in Betong within 11am and have much time to relax.
6. Day 3 ride will be exhausting, but doable. Signal friends if you are tired.
7. Twisties zone is mainly at Gerik area. Elsewhere it is mostly a straight line.
8. Ask for more riding tips from the Sifoos and Abangs.
9. Make sure you bike and yourself is in good condition. Do at leaset a minor exercise within this few days, this ride didn't just test you cornering angle, it more to endurance and your stamina level.

Budget expectation :
1. Chip in RM 50 to Abg Suindra at the meeting point, he'll manage the dinner and lunch bill as you'll eat and dine together.
2. Hotel rate is about RM60-70 per night. Save more on an extra bed for the room. Instead of sharing with 2 guys, 3-4 is much fun and you can stay awake all night with the chit chat.
3. 1,284km, means about 6 times fill up, so fuel will be about RM 125.00 plus RM 40.00 fueling up at Songkhla. Fuel up to the max before getting to Hat Yai-Songkla, fuel in Thailand is RM2.80 compare to RM1.90 here.
4. Change some ringgit to Baht at Caltex Gurun. Insurance for a bike and a whitecard is RM18.00, the counter there is helpful and he'll get everything prepared for you.

Just when I'm adoring the Michelin Power Race so much, a quick browse on the internet says that this tyre are being replace with the new Michelin Power One. The first time I saw this tyre was on the Kevin's bike. It just look awesome. I can't wait to try on this tyre. (Yeah Right! With what?!)

This DOT-approved race rubber comes in 20 different models and 8 different sizes with 9 different compound. You guys can looks at http://www.michelinpowerone.com/sitepower/site/indexen.html for Michelin guide on the best tyre suited for you.

The hint on the tyre is A for soft, B for medium and C for endurance (hard). There's also a slicks & wets version available for the consumer. Price are just as the same with Power Race. Indeed it's a revolutionize replacement for it.

Too bad for MotoGP that is missing all this fun. Same goes to the F1 too.

2009 BMW S1000RR Rumored Pricing

Word on the web is, the BMW will price the all new S1000RR bike which is schedule to debut at the World Superbike race on May 29th at Miller Motorsports Park within price range of the big four Japs, with expectation of just 10% higher. It will not compete along with Ducati 1198 or KTM RC8.

"We intend to take the four Japanese head-on. We did not intend to build a motorcycle like Ducati does or KTM does. We wanted to build a mainstream motorcycle," says Pieter de Waal, Vice President of BMW Motorrad USA.

For the sake of the fun of it, let's imagine. AutoBavaria Malaysia enjoys the same advantage Kawasaki Malaysia have, having the rights and APs to bring the bike here. So if the pricing structure is as attractive as the web claims, you can guess that the S1000RR should be around somewhere of RM 94.6K on the road. If this is true, R1, CBR and the Gixxer would have a real problem. But still, this is just rumored.

I miss the MSS Round 1 held in Sepang on th 19th April. I heard the Japan guy's bike Mr. Yasuhiro Kuhara, CBR1000 08, is too damn fast. Even left Zamani wanting Haji Azka's K7 to teach him some lesson. What ever it is, I congratulate the one who stand on the podium. Keep it up guys.

Hanging out at MSC PJ last night. I spot a Honda CBF1000 brand new parked right at the corner of the store. Retail price should be around RM 90K. This bike is based on CBR1000RR engine but has been tune for city/touring riding style which Honda build it to be a all purpose bike.

Songkhran Festival & Phuket Bike Week : Part III

Upon arrival in Patong, Phuket, we check in at the Boomerang Inn. Nice spacious room with Mat Nor getting a queen size bed while I got the single size. The water flow is as strong as getting a good back massage. I text up Mr. Epol that we have arrive. He then with Barongan and Bedah came in. They rent a small scoot for 200 Baht a day. How convenient to travel along the Patong beach with it.

A pillion is not required to wear a helmet, only the rider himself. That's what I like about the town. No speeding that I notice along the road. The loud bikes and aggressive riders mostly aren't the local people. Epol and the gang just went to the beach party. We then get to our own way because the Langkawi Bikers has arrange a dinner party at Kamala Beach for us. We later then see each other again at 10 p.m.

Dinner is set on 8 o'clock. We have the opportunity to walk around the town. The ambient felt like being at Batu Feringgi, but more lively and happening. I would just love to get them seafood, but we didn't notice any halal food stall yet. Some more there isn't much green leafs in my wallet, so the desire need to be hold for a while. A lobster like this cost 1000 Baht a kilo. Man... I'm not suppose to go cheap if I have travel 1,000km to get here. But there is always some other day.

Patong beach form in three main streets. As you walk around, you'll go back to the same spot later in an hour. It is really a nice place to visit. I know my wife would love to come here and I love to explore the food with her.

A tut-tut can carry up to 7 person. I don't know how much the fair really is, but we got ourselves to Rawai which is about 25km away from Patong, cost us 1000 Bath for 7 person for a return trip.

After a short walk in Patong, we meet Albert from Langkawi who has join us at Boomerang Inn later that evening. Another private beach party is held at Kamala Beach and we had our dinner there. The road is exactly like getting from Tanjung Tokong to Batu Fereinggi. But a few surprise of an offroad ride suspend us a little. Going through the steep hill with a ZX10R or ZX14 isn't really a good idea. But we manage to survive. It left us wondering how to climb back up again thou.

They served us with unlimited roti canai, grilled fish, chicken curry and rice for dinner. But we have to pay for the drinks. Good huh? This is my doing before I remember to snap the picture.

Hafiz, Abg Wan and Albert. A nice guy and always have a good point when he is talking. My last pack of cigarettes finished here. Time for some Thai flavored cigarettes from now on. Surprisingly, a pack of 20's here cost cheaper in Malaysia. But taste aren't the same.

After filling up our stomach to the F marker, we sat down at the beach and shared some ghost stories. The tsunami effect are still in memories here.

An hour relaxing on the beach, 5 of us decide to explore Patong ourselves. We then shoot back to our hotel and park our bikes. The Phuket Bike Week beach party are just a walking distance from our hotel. It was Saturday and the crowds are getting bigger by the minute.

At the center, there's a stage where live band and some exiting shows are performed. But it's all free to the public. AC/DC played that night. It sound just like them. It left be believe the real AC/DC is in town. But Angus doesn't look and played original enough. A van promoting live Metallica and AC/DC bold the marks even more.

This Harley got my attention. It end up belonging to our bro Lan Haga. He open a booth here too as I notice the Jokers For Life banner hanging up there. I didn't notice him until tomorrow's night.

After the long walk and going through the crowd. He hang out at Dubai, a small restaurant just exactly in front of the Bike Week's gate. A can drink cost 30 Baht, a coffee 40 Baht and a briyani rice at 220 Baht. He ended up eating a few times here until the last day we found a stall selling a fried rice for 50 Baht. Hmm...

Epol then join us here and take us for a walk.

Epol had came here more than once. He know his way around. Najib shops a boot for his lovely wife. Couldn't find the right one thou.

Not just the big custom bike caught my attention. This lovely scooter would make a popular model if they are launch and rightly price here in Malaysia.

The big one cost 2,000 Baht a kilo. I still tell myself that I should get it later.

The end up walking up to the Bangla Street. Nice view and a very happening night life here. Pubs and bistro open until late night. Manage to watch the EPL Chealsea vs Bolton game in suspend. Chelsea got lucky.

Songkhran Festival & Phuket Bike Week : Part II

I didn't recall the name of the hotel we stayed in. I think we all just kinda exhausted from the ride. Abg Wan had made arrangement for our stay and food. We each all pay RM 400 to cover all lunch and dinner including 4 night stay. It's a real bargain. After cleaning ourselves up, we meet in the lobby for tonight's dinner. The rain starts to fall again.

While waiting for other Langkawi bikers, I forgot to count but I think it's about 11 all of them, we just chit and chat and review the whole wet ride.

To get to stretches your leg after 5 hours of ride is priceless. We meet Hafiz here who then tag along with Remy Zx14.

Damn! I forgot the place's name as well. It's just 50 steps from the hotel. The food here is great. Everyone can testify how great the tea is. We are served with ulam (raw vegetables) and sambal belacan first. And the sambal belacan was outstanding!

After dinner had a nice tour within Danok town. I get back to the hotel and installed the GPS mount at my bike. It's a simple wire connection to the battery and tying up a few screws.

I had a good night sleep. Shared the room with Mat Nor and both of us doesn't mind we drop all the gear and put some loud Akrapovic mufflers sound while we are sleeping. We are to assemble back in the lobby fully geared at 7a.m. Me and Mat Nor were late. The cause is the late chat and we watched MU vs Porto which game I missed last week. Hehehe. Sorry guys. But then, it happen to be a habit of me to be late in the packs. Huh!

A little foggy in the morning. A Doa to ask Allah protect us through out our journey. Alhamdulillah everything went well.

After starting our journey, we pump up after about 80km of riding. The petrol here cost average of 26.00 Baht per liter, almost about RM2.65/l. Choices of RON is confusing a bit confusing.

We cruise along the highway 41. Not much bump on the road and none potholes that I see. Thailand made a good road but the tarmac compound is a little bit slippery-smooth to our tyres. And the open highway gives everyone to cross over as they please. Yet it felt safe. The Thailand's driving attitude is great.

Something here caught my attention. Didn't cross in my mind if their sneeze thou. Huhuhu....

I pass on Trang about 10 o'clock. We had our breakfast and refuel here.

Our cruising speed on the highway is aroung 130-140km/h. You can't top too much on these streets. Somemore the marshall is unpass-able.

In the streets of Trang. We didn't get the opportunity to explore the town more, so 5 of us planning to spend more time along the way back.

In 30 minutes we assemble and regroup to continue our journey.
Next stop to refuel is Phang Nga.

My bike & Mat Nor's advised fuel is to get the RON 95 and above. While Remy, Shahir and Najib is RON 90. But we all pump 95 instead.

Najib had 40 second nap. That's enough for him.

The fuel looks wired. The sign stated is gasohol. It's a fuel consisting of a blend of ethyl alcohol and unleaded gasoline, especially a blend of 10 percent ethanol and 90 percent gasoline. So does it the fight fuel for us? I still in puzzle mode. But me and Najib swear our bike performance are a little bit downgraded with this fuel. Maybe the ECU need to adjust by this fuel. Some more, a labeled 91 cost more than 95 which is 29.50 Baht.

Never mind what the bike drinks, for us we just need plain water.

We then being brief that Phuket is just about 80km away from our stop. That is exiting. Most of us request to stop on the bridge. There are lot's of other bikers pass along. And most of them stops here as well.

The weather is perfect and the sun is just right. Look at the blue sky. It's so beautiful.

About 20km away from our hotel, we had some trouble with one of our bikes. The coolant seems leaking too fast. Shahir spot this and we stop to let it cool down for a moment.

We didn't rectify the problem instantly. It then turn out to be a cracker radiator hose. Three of us leave the bike here for a while and head down to the hotel. Later Abg Wan and his guys came back to solve the matter. No harm done.

It's hot on those leather suit. We three then when on to the hotel with two bikes.

Songkhran Festival & Phuket Bike Week : Part I

Najib, Amir, Epol and SIC members planned a couple of weeks in advance for this ride. I actually didn't. I didn't even think of going until Najib make me change my mind on the last minute to company him. Amir loan me RM 300.00 to cover the fuel and Najib RM 400.00 for the accommodation. My wife sponsored me RM 400.00 for food and other expenses. The bike's roadtax will expired by the month's end, so I said to my self, let's enjoy the ride, I'm incapable of renewing the roadtax for the time being. How unlucky is that Amir couldn't join us when the time comes. So there's only 5 of us on the strating grid. Myself on the Zx10R, Najib with his Z750s, Remy ZX14, Shahril GSXR1000 K2 and Mat Nor Z750.

It was Friday, we assemble at RnR Sungai Buloh somewhere on 1p.m. Amir join us to wish us safe riding.

From left, Remy, Amir, Shahir's back, Mat Nor and Najib. You'll not see me much in the pics, I just love to take them, not be in them. Remy and Najib has liaise with the Langkawi bike group and will be joining them at the Thailand border. They'll help arrange our hotel and all.

As about time to leave, the rains starts falling. Left us hanging a couple of more minutes. That means more cigarettes and drinks.

Najib's with his waterproof gears. But he actually dying to have a shiny metal panniers on both side.

As we agreed among five of us that we are well getting late, we ride through the rain. It stopped and rain again on and off through the journey.

The next checkpoint is at RnR Simpang Pulai. Refuel the bike and some light stretch for us.

We stopped when visibility is bad when it's rains heavily. I'm currently on my Power Race. Honestly, it's a delight for me riding in the rain. At least that stretches up my tyre thread for an extra more life.

We always regroup on every checkpoint or junction. I always prefer this kind riding pattern. A voluntary sweeper always at the back watching out for others and we ride at our own pace. No marshall is necessary because that's just caused bikers hogging the road. Who's fast or who's not is really doesn't matter as long as we group together again on the next stop.

After a while we ride again and next stop is RnR Gurun.

Everyone is starving.

You can make insurance and related border paperwork here at Caltex RnR Gurun. It cost us RM 17.00 for each bike's insurance and RM 1.00 for the white paper. They also have a money changer here with a rate of RM 10 = 9.80 Baht. I gave them an idea that they can always change the money later in Thailand. Bad judgment cause that end up some losses as the rate in Phuket are much lower than this. I still have some 700 Baht left in my wallet from the previous visit. That will just do for now. I'm on budget diet.

Somewhere along the way it's raining again. A small house with a human label on the door became our shelter for that moment. Najib is talking with a guy who remain anonymous tipping us on Danok.

As we arrive to the border. We waited for the Abg Wan and Abg Anwar to guide us up.

At the Sadao Immigration, it's been done a little bit differently. We park our bike at the side and que up for the passport and import vehicle form.

2009 Kedai Motor Chear Open House

I was archiving my photo when I stomp to this photo collection. So I blog.

It was just last chinese new year on the February when Chear Motor made their open house. Chear Motor is located at Jalan Bukit Kuda, Klang. Amir, Najib, Remy, Apit and everybody who bought a bike from them gets invited. I just tag along, I came with my car together with Mud and Muaz.

Old school signage. They must have sweet memories with this signboard, else they would have taken it down already.

They are lots of bikers that night. I count head it must be more than 1000 bikes at least.

The open house is well organized. RELA help to control the traffic and the early bird could only wish they would have more parking space. This bikers not only double park, I think their quadruple it. The food are great. Upon arrival everyone register for a chance of the lucky draw.

Hat Yai & Muang Songkhla Pre-Ride

My mind are a little bit stuffed a few weeks ago with work and all. A great escape is just what I need for the cure. So I went back to my home town and plan to take a journey to the popular bikers stop, Thailand. I'm not planning that way ahead. It's more like a site survey.

I took the odd road from Kuala Lumpur to get to Jerteh that day. Instead of going to Bentong town, there's another quite infamous route that should be great to take during the festive holiday. You'll be glad to escape the traffic at that season. I went on heading to Karak exit and just before that, there's a route exiting to Kampung Cinta Manis. You can google the map and see how the route cuts Bentong & Raub town, the next thing you know, you in the Benta-Lipis junction. There no speeding at this route, but you can enjoy the twisties and solitary. I spot 10 Porsche ranging from Boxster to the Carrera enjoying their ride on this route. That makes me wish my Focus Zetec 1.8 become the RS for a while.

Arriving at Gua Musang, we took a rest at the blue mosque. My dad prefer to took the Kuala Krai route, he kinda wanna arrived at home before maghrib. I differ. I took the Gua Musang-Dabong-Jeli-Machang-Jertih route. I wanna see the Stong waterfall, and by my GPS calculation, the differences betwen those two route is just 20km. The route is not very comfortable between Gua Musang and Dabong. It would be dangerous to speed since few chuckhole are ready to surprise you. But, it should still be safe, just remember not to speed if you don't see the road ahead.

We stop at Mount Stong entrance and I snap a few pics. Hehehe... I'm one of a Kelantanies who never walk here. Even my dad and mom are here for the first time. Stong get his name just like a bok gets his. Bok is what a kelantanies called a book is, which is buku in Malay, but since the english called it book, they pronounce it as bok. So Stong, as you might guest, origin from stone, which is batu in Malay. Why kelantanies do this - heck!, don't ask me.

So we arrived just as GPS suggested, a few minutes before maghrib. Hang out at my hometown for a few days. I'll always get the nasi berlauk at the Kuala Besut jetty early in the morning. Having a breakfast there is priceless.

Stop at Tok Bali for some fresh sea offering. Fish, cuttlefish, crabs and prawn are just awesome here. This are my three nephews, who is my oldest brother child. They just loved to eat grilled seafood as well.

After a few days, it's time to head to Hat Yai. I head up from Jerteh-Machang-Jeli-Banding-Gerik-Baling-Sungai Petani-Gurun-Bukit Kayu Hitam. Gong hint to get the paper done at Caltex Gurun. And it was a snap. My fuel are less than half tank when I start the car. I know there's a Petronas at Banding Island and another 20 more km, there's one in Gerik. I gamble on it. But I lost the bet. The fuel warning lid up 60km from Banding. The bad news is Petronas at Banding are closed since January this year. The good news, all standard vehicle should able to travel at least 80km when the fuel light is on. But the hill climb to make me sweat a little, scared I would even reach Banding. There should be a warning sign at Jeli that I missed according to the guy there. There no way I could get to Gerik on this. Luckily, fuel are available in gas can here.

A convenience shop sells a can like this for RM40. This can should hold about 18l of fluid. So 18 x RM 1.90 = RM 34.20. He got RM 5.80 profit out of this. I owe them more than this.

I continue the journey and it's been raining since we arrived at Gurun. The Baling-Gerik road was still at it best. There's a flash flood just a few kilometers from Bukit Kayu Hitam checkpoint. I was quite disappointed if ever the road should be closed, we have to turn back. We waited about half an hour and the flood is safe to cross by a car. So trip goes on.

At Caltex Gurun, they already arrange the car insurance and help us fill up the white card. A copy of the car grant letter is a must if you want to cross the border with your own wheel. But the grant should be with your name. Checking out on the Malaysian Immigration isn't a problem. On the Thailand side, you should park your car on the parking lot first. Submit your passport and the white card to the first counter or which ever less queuing is available. A fee of RM1 has to be paid per head. They snap a picture of your face with their web cam on the counter. For the car, a form is printed on the last counter whn you submit your grant and you have to sign it and get a copy. On the way back, you have to submit back the form to the Thailand immigration which ever gate that is. Gong told me he got fine 2000 Baht for not doing so. Another thing, my car is white, but the grant itself are printed black. But that doesn't cause any complication. Once all done, I took the car and waive my hand and smile to the helpful officers.

The rain doesn't stop until we arrived at Hat Yai. It's about 60km from the border. The road are mostly straight but speeding is dangerous. I think max you can hold is just around 110km/h. There are pedestrian right, left and center. So you just might want to be extra careful. My thumbs up to the Thailand road. It is perfectly paved.

As my GPS does it part again, Gong recommended Regency Hotel. An easy access hotel with 800 Baht (RM 81.00) per night, without breakfast, which is the first thing I was looking for the next morning. I'm sure I can't find my way to the hotel if the GPS is not hooked. The road is more ala-Petaling Street. We arrived somewhere around 8p.m. At 10, we were searching for food. Muslim food is easy. Some people here talk Kelantan as well, but English is still understandable.

Me and my wife hang out at this store. I got myself a fried kuew teow and she get herself a meatball mee soup. Cost us 150 Bath with a ice tea and Lai Chi Kang.

A big prawn around 400g cost 200 Baht, a smaller size cost 100 baht and a bit smaller cost 200 baht for 3 pieces. Smaller than a bit smaller cost 50 baht. And smaller than smaller than a bit smaller cost 100 baht for three. I didn't like it.

Muslim food all around. No problem. This one I like.

I spot some udang ketak on the street. This is outstandingly delicious if you eat it fresh. Take out the head and break the body vertically. The meat is so juicy. Best to be grilled.

We check out from the hotel at noon. I have trouble with my credit card since I didn't inform the bank that I'll be out from Malaysia for a while. I paid the room in ringgit. We then head to Muang Songkhla. I just have to see the beaches here. It is outstanding. I'm sure elsewhere such as Phuket should have more exciting impact. Songkhla is about 30 minutes drive from Hat Yai. The road is still like a straight line. No exicitement to be on a bike on this trip.

It was a perfect weather. The beaches are neat and tidy. And the wind is extremely nice.

You can still find halal foods here. A stick of this cost 10 baht. I got something like a cucur udang, but this one are just full of prawns. It cheap here compare to Hat Yai.

The lotus flower are seen stretches along the Songkhla road. It's beautiful. I always admire this flower, that's why I named my daughter after them.

We hang out until 4 or 5 I think. Then I have to think of driving all the way down to Kuala Lumpur. It should be almost 600km. Thinking it too far away, we head to Penang for some local favorites.

It's been a perfect weather all the way. Traveling like is so much fun. But if the weather is bad, telling stories about it again and again is much more fun. What counts is always the experience.

A few minutes on the ferry... There's no fish. She just like the wrinkling sea.

Hint on upcoming 2010 Kawasaki ZX10R

Kawasaki recently filed patents for an in line four cylinder motorcycle engine with an uneven firing order. While similar to the design from Yamaha in the latest R1, the Kawasaki engine design steps things up a bit by adding some electronics to aid the uneven firing order.

The Kawasaki design would traditionally have had problems, in that the radical nature of the firing order would have made the engine incapable of running at low RPM, due to a lack of momentum in the crank on the long 540° revolution. The second problem would have been the requirement for a very heavy and almost impractical crankshaft, which would have made the engine slow to rev, and would have limited high end RPM.

Kawasaki have solved these problems by using clever electronics. An electric motor operates only on every second revolution, during the compression stroke, and only on cylinders one and four. This tiny electric motor operates only long enough for the motor to gain momentum, and then switches off again. Engine sensors are used to monitor crank angle, degree of throttle opening, vehicle speed and gear position. The new electric motor will also be used as a generator to charge the battery when it's not boosting the crank, and that means it can do the job of the traditional alternator too.

What does this all mean? Well to you and me, probably nothing other than a bike that sounds like the Yamaha M1, but if you are a really good rider, you will now be getting more traction and therefore better feedback from the rear tyre under acceleration, meaning faster corner exits, and ultimately better drive out of corners which means better speed down straits and hopefully an advantage for the green team (and don't they need one right now?)

The radical 540° gap in the firing order is double the gap that the new R1 uses, and means that the ZX-10R motor turns a full one and a half revolutions without any cylinders firing. The gap in the R1 firing order is only 270° which in itself was considered rather long.

However the most significant benefits from the Kawasaki design are that the crankshaft retains the natural balance as found in a traditional (screamer) in line four. This in effect reduces production costs, improves reliability, and also enables the normal high rev limit found in screamer engines, which means that the peak power output will not be adversely affected.

It seems like next year the major brands will all be making V4's or 'Big Bangs' if they want to stay competitive. Aprilia have already gone the V4 route, so we still need to find out what Suzuki & Honda have planned. Honda could easily build a V4, and Suzuki have the GSVR in MOTOGP which is a V4, so they know how to do it too. It looks like 2010 is going to be another one of those years with amazing technology coming to the consumers because of racing...

If I have the money, and fulfilled all my financial obligations, this is something that I want in my garage. Gilera Fuoco 500 is a fun scooter. Just as fast as you want it to be and as comfort as a commuter should be.

I just that bored that day. As we decided to go for a new TTS location, I still think the fun of going is the journey itself. So I called up Mok, to try out his scooter what it felt to be on a three wheeler. He is always kind enough to give the assist.

Don't bother about the key chain. That is free.
When I got the key, I'm kinda impress on the key itself. It's look more a car's key than a bike's. But that's nothing special. Until I found out the seat are being open by the remote key. Hah! Fuel cap are to be open from here. There's a helmet sign almost on it, but I didn't explore the function.

Press on the button and I make believe the door is open.

The compartment are big. Technically, I didn't pour any water inside to see how many litres it could go. The info should be on Gilera website. It can hold a fullface helmet and Gong's most important finding, to hold a laptop. 17' still can go I think. Note the light in the compartment, very convenient as I when to the TTS that night.

Instrument panel is continental. Easy read even on bright daylight. Warning and monitoring light are highly noticeable. Two trip meter available and reminder for service also there.

The tricky fork locking module (I don't know what it's actually called) are left on the right handside. Once you master this mechanism, there's no need to put your feet on the ground even the scooter are stopped on the redlight. But it takes a while to get the use of it. I mean in just a few minutes.

Hazard light and pass button within reach. Horn needs to be upgrade. European doesn't like it loud. But here it's more like necessity.

492.7cc cubic engine produce enough power delivered to the rear wheel on the CVT automatic variable speed drive with torque assistance. You'll top up to 150km/h easy on this, more if you outspoken it for a while.

Looks like a bug. A lazy old caterpillar actually. But looks always are deceiving.

Remember there's three tyres to maintain here.

Exhaust sounds like a plain scooter. The tail may looks like a plain plastic, but it's really stiff.

The suspension works well. Cornering ability is outstanding. But you have to get use of the two wheels response.

Comfort are well position sitting posture. You'll love to travel long hours on this scooter. Handbrake and all purpose gripper are located in the center. Yes... there's a handbrake. But don't try doing 180 with this okay.

While travel on the long hours, the seat are well design to get you comfy. Malaysia flag doesn't come as standard. That airbrush cost him about RM800 more. Hmm...

I love this Scooter, but as the price tag is RM45K, it should be for the market such as a car's lovers would get a Smart.

Saya dilaporkan lebih 1,000 penunggang motosikal bekerjasama untuk menjayakan sambutan kali ini. Sambutan untuk tahun 1430H/2009M tahun ini dirasmikan oleh Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah 9 Mac lepas (Isnin) bertempat di Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.

Acara konvoi motor beramai-ramai merupakan upacara penutup bagi majlis ini.

Confirm susah nak jaga 1,000 anak yang masing-masing ada paling kurang 50 ekor kuda nak jaga. Fuh...

Kawasaki Z1000 sentiasa kelihatan tegap dan mantap.

Semua peserta dapat anak baju (vest) termasuk member kita seorang yang sempat melarikan diri sebelum kena hujan.

Biasa naik 80bhp punya mesin, ni dapat 1,400bhp! Dengar ada kes tutup throttle tiba-tiba jugak kat atas tu... Kalau perhati betul-betul nampak kepala Gibsi tengah hulur keluar posing depan lens aku.

Saudara FJR lansung tidak menghiraukan beribu moto diluar. Dapat naik van OB RTM harga lebih RM20juta lagi syok. (Aku pun.... Hehehe...)

TTS @ Precinct Diplomat, Putrajaya

I think we finally hit the fair spot for our TTS. Remy suggest me to survey a new location in Putrajaya. I went there with my wife and found out it was great. Precinct Diplomat was launch somewhere on July 2006. Most of the shop over there are still available to let or sale. The place is quite, full of open space and are excellent twisties to enjoy along the way.

For me & Amir , we have to travel about 23km to get here. On Epol side, he has to travel 16km if he go through Jalan Bangi Lama, passing Nuclear Malaysia and through Jalan Ayer Hitam. Najib & Remy will have to travel about 21km. Poji & Abg Indra have at least 37km in hand. Yan & Hazmi about 14km. Mud 21km. And Abg Is should be somewhere 17km. I calculate this based on GPS route. There might be a shorter distance since I set my GPS for the fastest route.

I count at least four 24 hours restaurant open for a nice cup of teh tarik. The food here looks quite nice too.

Decent parking space. And the ambient felt nice.

It should be a busy streets in a few years to come. Right now, it's just great.

Google maps register the Precinct location. It's all highway, so you can enjoy full blasting along the way - like Najib demonstrate on the way back.

I think this should be fair to all of us. Pelita Bangsar has been an eye catcher, great food and easy parking space - at least for the bike. It'll remain to be one of our regular TTS spots. This new location is something else. The silence of the night will be broken by our mufflers noise. Absolutely safe parking spaces. Still have cucimata sceneray as well. Astro for late night football macthes. And, riding together to get to this place is.. priceless.

BTW, sorry to Abg Raja sebab dah pindah kat Sungai Tua... hehehe.. Baru jumpa la... Duduk Bangi kan senang. Ca Alif But.....

Najib New Ride : 2009 Kawasaki ZX14

We are being played for a fool!

Najib a.k.a Gibsi Laut had been telling us how his bike had always breakdown. I still remember all his trouble list :
1. Hugger touches his rear wheel;
2. Fuel pump goes dead;
3. Wiring fault;
4. Headlight fuse always burn;
5. Damage burned fuse box;
6. His ignition relay fault.

It was just an excuse!
We were con guys! It's not his damaging his Kawasaki bike reputation, he actually planning an excuse to get a new ride. And he did.

With the new ZX14, I'm sure Epol wouldn't even think to twist his throttle to get near Najib... if he could.

But typical ZX14 buyers, I really don't understand why a Candy Plasma Blue has always be their choice. The new ZX14 09 suppose to come with the new Metallic Diablo Black and Kawasaki Candy Lime Green. The 09 too has the new Limited Edition spec with Limited Edition Orange choice. I guess he just wants to follow Epol steps.

I asked Chear Motor how much Najib had trade-in his Z750s. Instead Chear denied the Zx14 is being sold by them. And I know it's not from Mok Motor or Welly. So I left puzzle as well. His new ride seems to had bought from an unkown source in Pahang. So why the secret Najib? Makan sendiri tarak baik la....

This is Najid new ride! RM 2.00 downpayment if I'm not mistaken. Look at that grin on his face. And I'm about to be bikeless. Damn!

Marco Melandri will be at MotoGP's opening Qatar round after Kawasaki struck a deal with organisers Dorna to stay in the championship with a one-rider team.A statement from the company says: This decision was made after negotiations that followed Kawasaki’s January 2009 announcement to suspend its factory supported MotoGP activities due to the economic crisis. Rider for the new MotoGP team will be the Italian Marco Melandri.The team will be equipped with Kawasaki motorcycles and supporting materials.

That Kawasaki has come to this new team approach is the result of on the one hand the need for a strong reduction of MotoGP racing investments and on the other hand the necessity to come to constructive solutions for all related parties.

The new team will disclose more details about its 2009 season’s plans on a short notice.

In order to get sponsor, kawi ride will be given Kawasaki T-Shirt, we're encourage to wear them. A group photo of Kawasaki bikes mostly. But this doesn't mean other bike couldn't join.

There are suggestion that we make it 4D/3N trip since the trip from Penang to KL will be exhausting.
Day 1 camp at Mat Zx10R house.
Day 2 camp at Penang Eddy's place.
Day 3 camp at Stong Resort enjoying waterfall & jungle trek.
Day 4 back to KL.

There is a proposal for May 2009 ride. We'll have two National Holiday on that month, 1st of May is the Labour Day and 9th of May is the Vesak Day, and holiday might be brought forward to the 11th. So I guess this ride will be best of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd May or 9th, 10th and 11th. And the weather should be just nice! I still have about RM150.00 left from the previous ride. InsyaAllah will get sponsorship, from Motosikal Mok, so I guess you'll only have to worry about fuel. Accomodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be covered.

The HXR-MC1 is an easy-to-use HD camera system, consisting of a small camera unit and a handheld controlling unit with LCD panel and recording function. Suzuki USA Recalling GSX-R1000 K5 and K6 Model

Ever wonder what it'll be like if we have an authorized distributor for Suzuki superbikes here in Malaysia? I do.

Suzuki USA has issue a voluntary safety recall for their GSX-R1000 model 2005 and 2006 which is well know here as the K5 and K6. Suzuki USA has confirmed that they have received reports on cracks or broken frame if the frame bike has experience extreme stress condition. This would mostly attributes to riders who performs free stunts and wheelies. Even thou in normal condition riding the frame will behave promptly, Suzuki is voluntarily to inspect the frame and replace them if necessary. If there is no sign of crack or abnormal behavior, Suzuki will strengthen the existing frame with an aluminum reinforcement brace that weight about 1kg below the frame spar and below and behind the steering head. The replacement frame that if necessary to replace the existing frame also is fitted with the same reinforcement brace.

Suzuki also provide a 5 year warranty on this new reinforce frame. Any recall bike owner that had repair or replace the frame before are eligible to get reimbursement. So how great are Suzuki USA service huh? But for us, if we don't have an authorized distributor, who would dare to bare the cost to service us?

Suzuki wish to assure that not all K5 and K6 frame behave in this manner, they claim that only 0.5% of their total production bike are affected, according to reports, that means possibly 26,000 motorcycles are affected. I can't get my facts here clear, if you can help please do, I'm not sure the numbers are K5 & K6 in the USA or worldwide. Then again, all of the a re assemble in Japan.

Consumer in the UK and other country are trying to get feed back from their Suzuki's distributor and dealers as well. That makes me wonder what Malaysia's Suzuki K owners would do. That's why a 2 years warranty is always is a peace for the mind. Hehehe....

New Pirelli Angle ST Sports Touring Tyre

Pirelli have update their new product lineup for 2009. The Pirelli Diablo Strada which has never been here are to be replace with their new wicked Pirelli Angle ST. The Angle ST has unique different tread pattern that in the shape of an Angel tread and the Devil himself.

Product Manager for Pirelli, Federico Bodini told : “This is a tread pattern that is not only functional but it also has a design that communicates our new concept. We have the shape of angels and demons as the tread pattern as it translates to how the consumer wants to use their motorcycle.”

The new motorcycle tyre - Angel ST will be a single compound tyre, with more of a focus on the same EPT, or Enhanced Patch Technology, thesis that the Diablo Rosso sport tyre was centralized around last year.

Using a complex method of testing the pressure through the tyre, Pirelli has developed the Angel ST to have a much bigger contact patch for improved grip levels.

Don't worry. This not the pattern on the tyre will be.

The Angel and the Demon can be seen on the thread and as Pirelli said, it translates to how the consumer wants to use their motorcycle. It best to be said as a The Double Soul, as the people who chooses to buy a Sportstourer, who at the right times, does not want to sacrifice the thrills of the curve and the emotion of acceleration. Angel ST will fits best on a 1400GTR, ST1300, FJR1300 and ZRX1200. Should be best on Hayabusa and ZX14 too. To sum it up, it'll be a close rival to Bridgestone BT-021 and Michelin Pilot Road 2.

2009 Kawasaki 1400GTR

The Kawasaki 1400GTR is a great sport touring machine. Gong and me can testify how Tok Mat pulls this bike all the way to Kuantan from Temerloh while our speedo constantly reads the 260km/h following him. He also prove how this bike is great (and he too) on the Batu Arang twisties corners while most of the road are covered with patches and sand. I must admit I like this bike. You've got 155bhp and 136Nm of torque from a re-tuned ZZR1400 a.k.a Zx14 engine with Variable Valve Timing & ram-air. It weights 279kg dry. But it would not agree with me on the usage.

Around the net, the GTR could be improve with heated grips (which we don't use), glove compartment on side fairing (could be good), adjustable seat high (kawi offers gel seat which is more comfortable although the seat itself already are, and you can adjust the suspension bracket to adjust the high of the bike, like your height will differs in a few days huh?), electronic cruise control (errr... nevermind, i'm not planning to leave my attention to the road while i'm flying this monster) and outside temperature gauge (you're already outside!).

So to summarize, this is a near perfect sport tourer for me. Kawasaki made a good job here. A class leader.

Side mirror width are well design to match the panniers. So if you pass the front, you'll pass your end. But this might troubles navigating through the traffic, especially when you have those box removed.

Features :

Tyre pressure sensor. No need for regular tyre pressure checks. Sensors deliver that information straight to the instrument console.

If you drop your fob after starting the bike, a warning will show on the LCD screen if the bike are away from the sensor range and the bike engine will stay running. If you stop the engine, you only have 10 seconds to start it back again without the fobs before it gets disabled. The GTR will also tell you when the fobs battery are running low.

2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R Arrived!

This bike is awesome. Of course I haven't yet to ride on one but the appearance already caught my attention. The sitting positing is like getting on the Suzuki GSX-R1000 K7, but the handles feel likes a Kawi. It feels and is much lighter that the previous version. Kawasaki uses lighter materials like magnesium case covers, lighter camshafts, lighter starter and some more stuff to shave up few more kilos on this bike. As claim by Kawi, it's almost 10kg lighter than it's predecessor.

Exhaust goes back to the right side. I like this setup more than the under seat exhaust. And Kawi takes advantages of using less material due to the shortcut.

Rear hugger as equip as standard. A little bit paint would make this hugger look more awesome.

Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 as standard OEM fit.

Rear brake reservoir been located near the engine.

Same Ohlins damper on the ZX-10R fitted to the bike.

Showa's new BPF (Big Oiston Fork) 41mm fork. It features large diameter internal piston. Same system found on the new GSX-R1000 K9. Rebound and compression damping adjuster located on the top end. So you can adjust them easily while you're riding. Yeah! Hehehe... The preload adjuster are located on the bottom.

New meter design. No battery fitted to the bike yet. So no no turn on for me. This one idle at 3,000rpm without starting the engine. Haha.

Pojie's eying on this side mirror for his ZX-10R. Looks cool. And it's very light.

ZX-10R gen. Doesn't have enough fierce looking face like his bigger brother, but still looks good enough for me.

Swingarm looks more solid than the previous year. But I think it's just as good as the ZX-10R. I mean, really like the '08/09 ZX-10R

Lovely in black.

Rear end. Different tail light than the other 09 Kawi sports bike, but looks almost the same.

Immobilizer as standard starts from the 08 model. You get the key when you pay for the bike.

Side air collector for the 599cc turbine jet.

Akrapovic Racing/Evo Full System for 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R

The Akrapovic full system exhaust saves 7.51kg for their evolution model and 6.28kg for the racing line. Akrapovic claims a massive 7.8bhp increase over the stock exhaust. That means the Kawi, produce 113.9bhp at stock, pumps out to 122.1bhp @ 14500rpm with the full system model. Imagine the whole Evo system weights 3.71kg only. Damn!

Looks good. I would prefer titanium muffler if the bike is green and blue. But for diablo black, the carbon fiber would be a fine choice. Ahh.. Who cares? You're the one who's buying, right? But I wonder if the link pipe will be exposed like that. Muffler angle match perfectly with the body line.

KUALA LUMPUR 20 Jan. - Motosikal mungkin tidak dibenarkan memasuki lokasi-lokasi tertentu yang menjadi pusat perniagaan dan tumpuan pelancong di bandar raya ini bagi membendung jenayah ragut.

Langkah itu dianggap antara pilihan yang ada sekiranya jenayah ragut ingin dikurangkan di ibu negara.

Ketua Polis Negara, Tan Sri Musa Hassan berkata, pihaknya akan mengemukakan cadangan itu kepada Kementerian Pengangkutan dalam masa terdekat.

Beliau berkata, larangan itu tidak bermaksud di semua tempat tetapi beberapa kawasan yang dikenal pasti mempunyai kadar jenayah ragut yang tinggi.

“Kita telah membuat kajian dan mengenal pasti lokasi-lokasi tertentu di ibu negara yang memiliki kadar jenayah ragut yang tinggi.

“Kawasan seperti ini tidak perlu penggunaan motosikal kerana orang berjalan kaki,” katanya pada majlis makan tengah hari anjuran Yayasan Pencegahan Jenayah Malaysia (MCPF) bersama media di sebuah hotel di sini hari ini.

Dorna CEO threatens to sue Kawasaki if they don’t race in 2009 MotoGP

Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta has warned Kawasaki that its ZX-RRs must race in MotoGP this season - something that is looking more likely after a subsequent revelation that factory test rider Olivier Jacque is currently on track in Australia.

Kawasaki, which officially announced that it was suspending its factory MotoGP activities on January 9, has a contract with Dorna to race in MotoGP until the end of 2011. Ezpeleta told La Gazetta dello Sport that he was willing to release Kawasaki from the final two years of that agreement, providing its bike are on the 2009 grid.

“There is an agreement until 2011, which Dorna has with all the factories,” Ezpeleta told the sportspaper. “It cannot just be discarded.

“I have told Kawasaki that I would not accept this contract being broken and, since they have said that the costs for this season are budgeted, I have proposed that they race in 2009. In exchange I will release them from 2010 and 2011.

“The problem with this is that Kawasaki says it only has engines built for 25% of the championship and that they don’t want to develop the rest. Therefore I am searching for a structure, in France, to do this for them. The final obstacle will be to get the Japanese to meet these people and agree to this scenario.”

When asked how optimistic he was of success, Ezpeleta declared “I think that it will all be resolved” then revealed that Kawasaki are testing today (Wednesday) and that he expects the current team structure to remain.

“Today Olivier Jacque is testing at Eastern Creek, in Australia. The team will continue to be managed by Michael Bartholemy and it is important to safeguard the futures of John Hopkins and Marco Melandri.”

Despite such optimism, Ezpeleta once again warned Kawasaki that it cannot simply walk away: “If Kawasaki will not race, I will take them to court.”

Those words could also be seen as warning to any other manufacturers thinking of quitting.

Ezpeleta also added that he wants a series of cost cutting measures - such as a reduction in testing, and engines that last for two or three grand prix weekends - agreed before the start of this season and is aiming to boost grid numbers to 20 riders for 2010.

Kawasaki’s apparent withdraw had reduced the 2009 MotoGP field to just 17 riders.

Trying to kneedown on a Naked Bike

Yesterday I was so bored at home, so I suit up and called my buddy to come and shoot me in action. I wanted to try to kneedown using the Super Duke.

I head out to the nearest roundabout I could find and went around it once to make sure it's safe for me to attempt it. I felt rather awkward hanging off the bike, because of the handle bar positioning is completely different from a superbike and the rear end has the tendency to slide, maybe it's because of the tyre. The Katoom has a Metzeler Sportec M3 fitted both front and rear. Everytime I tried to lean more I started to lose the rear end. After trying for some time the traffic started to get heavier and the skies looks it's going to rain, so I didn't manage to kneedown but at least I tried.

Here's some of the photo of my attempted knee down somewhere around Shah Alam.

I've got to watch out for inbound traffic, if I don't be careful I might get hurt. It may seem a bit dangerous but you should blame the government for not having enough facility for us bikers to use.

KDX220 & Air Terjun Tanglir

I was on the market for a MX or an enduro dual-purpose bike. It gaves me a hard time to decide which one is the best for my purposes. Actually I don't give a damn, I just want to go offroading - with some freestyle jump along the way. So Ah Meng help me on it. He was kind enough to loan me a Kawasaki KDX220 for the weekend. I kinda hesitated to try it at first, never like to loan other bikers bike before, but it's very hard to resist. So I did. I pick to go to air terjun Tanglir, which is between Genting Sempah & Bukit Tinggi. The place may be well know, but to access to the waterfall is kind of difficult, unless you're OK to go trekking for one an a half hour, or got a 4x4 or an off road bike, making the waterfall privately own by you.

I went to the Tanglir waterfall with my family. My invitation to the other 300kmj buddies leave unanswered. Oh... thought of having a biking buddy on the trail would be much more fun. The Ford Ranger is really a multi purpose vehicle. It use to play the same role when I punctured my tyre on the Awana route last year.

We convoyed with 3 cars. Parked at the end of the Sentosa home, there a guard guarding the front gate there, so it's quite safe to leave the car. The whole family jump on the ranger and I took the bike uphill.

The trail isn't a real justice to test the bike. But it's the closest I can think of in the shortest distance.

I wish there would be more of this. The trail takes about 10 minutes journey. Around 5km I guess. Some of the are tarmac, some are mud, some a gravel and some just patches of holes that made it so much fun.

I wouldn't be fair if I had the only fun machine. They're roller-coasting too.

The entrance to the waterfall. It's still accessible by a 4x4. But after a few hundreds meters, only a fully mod 4x4 could go in. I wonder if those guys on the RM271K Land Rover Freelander 2 would gave this a try. I've been dreaming on that SUV too much know. But it's unreachable.

Tyre track are still there. I'm still blasting with the bike, err not really blasting, trailing would be a better word. The KDX220 is a good trail bike. I never handle this kind of bike before, but I'm having so much fun on it. I went up until the river crossing. Up there the trail are just fine for a enduro to jump in. I chicken out actually. I don't think I could survive the steep climbing angle and the big rocks. That's the end for me. But I would love to try it if it's my bike that I'm riding.

We all jump into the water here. I can summarized Tanglir as a multilevel waterfall. The highest waterfall reach more than 100ft on the first layer, if I count head it right. This is the 4th layer. The depth is just nice for an adult. You can jump in from layer one to five. But I couldn't manage to find how to go down to the first waterfall.

This is the 2nd layer. The best of Tanglir for us. It's like about 30ft high. The trek to get down here is quit steep. But it's not that hard, but you have to leave behind your picnic basket. Went checking out the stages with my brother in-law. Looks cool.

We head up from 1p.m. and by the time we get down, it's almost 7p.m. Tanglir really is an awesome place. The water is cold, but you'll get use to it once you jump in. It's worth going to and it's not that far from the city. Most probably like us, you'll own the place for yourself the whole day. The KDX was awesome too. I didn't really push that bike too much. It's still is a buddy's bike. It really made me wonder how the KX250F would perform on this. When I get back down, I've decided to get the KLX450R for my liking. It's an enduro with some MX gens, just a fine balance between those two. When I do, I'll be coming back. Thanks Ah Meng for the loan. Appreciate them!

Thailand's most celebrated festival is the Songkran Festival. It starts April 13 and lasts between 3 and 10 days, depending on where you are in Thailand. The word Songkran is from the Sanskrit meaning the beginning of a new Solar Year, but nowadays Thailand celebrates the New Year on 31 December. The Thai people celebrate this festival with water. Everyone gets soaking wet and since it is the hottest season of the year, the custom is quite refreshing.

It is an old belief that the Nagas or mythical serpents brought on rain by spouting water from the seas. The more they spouted, the more rain there would be. So, one might believe that the Songkran customs of throwing water is actually a rain-making idea, but it seems that the Thais don't really bother about way they celebrate Songkran - they just do it for having a great time!

When I was a kid, so far as I can remember, I always see my dad watch Dunia Jam 10, a local TV news, every day at 10p.m. The news covers most of the news around the world and the war between Israel & Palestinians too. I had to admit I couldn't understand them at first, and understood why my dad are so interested with the news. As years gone by, I then knew who is the Israel and who is the Palestinians. The Palestinians, الفلسطينيون (al-Filastiniyyun), suffering is nothing I could describe for the wrong doing of the Israel. The point is, the Palestinians had suffered too long. Too long as far as I can remember. Too long as you can read it in the history.

I promise today, I wont drink Coke anymore. And that's one of the list that I'm not spending for Israel ally. I wish to help Palestine by doing my part. Come, let all Muslim acts, we could shake their economy and they would hurt to finance their war. Dr. M used to say Jews rules the world by proxy. It's so true.

I know Malaysia doesn't want any business with Israel. But I wonder how the KATA product got here. And it is being sold by these guys, Eng Tong Systems Sdn. Bhd. If you guys know any other Israel direct product had come in here, do let me know.

It's official Kawasaki will quit MotoGp next season!!! Damn I was looking forward to see Kawasaki fight for the championship with their new screamer engine. The 2005 MotoGP runner up Melandri is surely cursing his bad luck, maybe he should go 'mandi bunga' to get rid of his bad luck!

Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki has pulled out of MotoGP to cut costs amid the global financial crisis. "We took the final decision not to continue in MotoGP," said Kawasaki's Katsuhiro Sato. "It's something we have been considering since mid-December. "In the current economic climate and unless the situation improves it is difficult to say if we will return." Kawasaki had competed in motorcycling's premier class since the 2003 season, with annual costs of around £28.8m. The worldwide economic downturn has also affected other Japanese marques involved in motorsport. Honda announced in December it is quitting Formula One, while Subaru and Suzuki are out of the World Rally Championship

Kawasaki has also felt the bite with sales of its bikes in the United States and Europe badly hit by the economic slump. Dutch-based Kawasaki Motors Racing failed to win in MotoGP, their best result French rider Randy de Puniet's second place in Japan in 2007.

The team had a miserable 2008 campaign , with John Hopkins injured for much of it and finishing 16th overall. Kawasaki's decision leaves the American and new team-mate Marco Melandri of Italy looking for rides ahead of the 2009 season. Melandri, who has won five MotoGPs, finished runner-up to compatriot Valentino Rossi in 2005. Kawasaki's exit, assuming its two bikes are not taken on by an independent team, leaves the MotoGP grid with 17 riders. Points are awarded down to 15th place.

Rider died while he waited to be found

The deadly Dakar Rally was in mourning again yesterday with the news that French motorcyclist Pascal Terry had been found dead while competing in this year's race.
The 49-year-old Terry was found dead late Wednesday Canberra time after the fourth stage of the gruelling spectacle which is taking place for the first time in South America after terrorist threats forced its cancellation last year.

''Officially the result of the autopsy revealed that the French pilot Terry died of pulmonary edema ... which produced cardio-respiratory failure,'' Julio Acosta, chief of the department of operations of the La Pampa province police, said.

''The death occurred between Monday and yesterday [Tuesday] morning.

''He could have been saved, if he had been rescued in time.''

Nasser Al Attiyah reclaimed the lead from Carlos Sainz in the fifth stage between Neuquen and San Rafael over the Patagonian steppe yesterday.

Terry had been missing since Sunday's second stage between Santa Rosa and Puerto Madryn.

Acosta said confusion over whether Terry had arrived at the Nequen camp on Sunday delayed the start of the search.

Search operations were launched on Monday, but they were unable to locate Terry until early on Wednesday morning when he was found dead by police.

''The motorcyclist was found in an area that is very inaccessible with very dense vegetation 15 metres from his bike,'' organisers said. ''He had taken off his helmet and had taken shelter with food and water next to him.'' AFP

Cheaper RON95 petrol by mid-year

RON 95 petrol will be introduced by the middle of this year to provide a cheaper fuel option for the masses. At the same time, a higher tax will be levied on RON97 to subsidise RON95. This was revealed by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad. A chart on how the retail price of petrol is determined will be provided to the public next week.

The chart will help answer queries and explain how the pricing mechanism works. RON95, although of a higher grade than RON92, will be priced at the same level as RON92. Shahrir explained that RON95 was a basic grade of petrol which could be used by virtually all vehicles with the exception of some luxury cars.

“We will introduce RON95 by June or July. RON95 is about 10 sen to 11 sen cheaper than RON97. RON92 is currently priced at RM1.70. We will price RON95 at about the same,” he said after launching the Tesco-RHB Credit Card and Tesco-RHB Debit cards in Tesco Ampang yesterday.

Shahrir said the pricing of RON95 would be based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM). Prior to this, there was no price crisis and there was no need to explain on how the mechanism worked, he said. The pricing of petrol at kiosks is based on the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS), a regional fuel price monitor.

“Should the MOPS price go below US$40 (RM142) a barrel then retail fuel price will fall. If MOPS is above US$78 per barrel, retail fuel price will increase,” he said.

Michelin Pilot Road 2

Thinking of changing a tyre for your sporttourer? Amir FJR ask me is the Pirelli is a fine choice without specifying the model name, but I don't know if Pirelli do bring in a suitable tyre for a sporttourer, what I know that Pirelli have here is the Corsa, Corsa III, DragonCorsa, DragonCorsa Pro and the SuperCorsa. None of them are really suitable for the sporttourer. The choice a limited. The most popular is the Bridgestone BT-021, and then you have Bridgestone BT-020 and Metzeller Roadtec Z6. So I did some homework and find out the Michelin Power Road 2 are available here.

Here's how the front tyre looks like. Price within the same range as the Bridgestone BT-021, I think it'll be a super deal for sporttourer uses. Looks are the thread pattern, you'll know it's being design to perform well on the wet.

The tyre adopt the Michelin dual compound technology, 2CT. A dual compound for a sporttourer is a great advantage. Review of this tyre shows that it has longer thread wear than the Bridgestones and it perform extremely well on wet. The tyre are directly rivals with Pirelli Diablo Strada, Bridgestone BT021 and BT020, Dunlop Sportmax D220, Continental Road Attack Z and the Metzeler Roadtec Z6.

Michelin lost quite a deal when lost the Formula 1 contract and the MotoGP. But they have always been known to produce excellent quality tyres. I bet this tyre would be great. And with the price within the range of the Bridgestones, again, it'll would be an awesome bargain!.

What's a CyberTTS? Well, it's kinda a proposal for the group. CyberTTS is just like the same regular TTS we often go every Friday. But instead of hangin' out at Pelita or any mamak store, we just hang out at our own house in front of the computer and discuss whatever to be discuss. We log on to this website and have a chat on the Shoutmix box. I don't see we'll be missing anything. It's more convenient and we can make our own drink while at it. If you guys want to run in your bike. Just go outside and start the bike and idle it for 10 minutes. That would make the engine running as well. How about it guys? If this is a success, we can have a cyber futsal as well.

Look. You can stretch your leg, get a pack of cigarettes and cans of soda. All to the comfort of your home.

Some more, advantages of the CyberTTS is you'll save your tyre life and have more pocket money from the fuel you saves. So, I'm ready to SMS to call our first CyberTTS. How about it?

East Malaysia Top Road for Superbiking

I'll try to review each of them in up coming time. I'll try to get videos, pictures and more stuff about the road. It's just a route which me and my friends would love to enjoy most, and I'm sharing it with those who read this. And it is not in any particular order.

I'm not suggesting for those who read this to go high speeding on it. Yes, sometimes I do break the law too in speeding. But please, safety is important, and should come first. This route are being use daily by the public. Most of them had a speed limit of 90km/h only. If you're too hungry for speed, get them on track, Sepang is the best. Lap the Sepang track at 2:15:00, and I salute you every time I see ya.

So, here it goes. My top rated route in East Malaysia.

A Twist Of The Wrist

Ever wonder how can those guys go so fast on the track? It's all about hard work. And what they are working on the bike is applying every technique that they know to be the fastest on the track. Believe me, to get the fastest lap is to always concentrate on what you are doing. A few seconds lost is a big time for a racer. If you lost my 0.001sec, you still lost. Right? In taking a corner, you have to always watch your reference marker to know exactly where you could brake the latest. Knowing your line which is the best to take, you throttle, you weight distribution, what your suspension will to do you is most of the things you where thinking while on a corner. So, how do you learn about this technique? And where to? The simplest and easy way is to read a book. Keith Code is a common name in the superbiking world. He wrote several riding technique books and the important of all I must say is the "A Twist Of The Wrist". This books help riders to think and prepare themselves how to beat the track.

Here's what the book looks like. If you planning on getting one, it's available at Kinokuniya, KLCC. I don't find them elsewhere when I was looking for this book. It was recommended to me by Mr. Lee, my first boss when I work as a Shell pump attendant when I was 18. He used to be a good rally driver, and motorsports has always been his hobby. I admire him because he knows where and when to go fast and when and where are not. A person like this always know his responsibilities for himself and others. When I took by my ZX6R in front of him, he gaves me a thumbs up. He then grab my hand and took me to his office. "Come on", he says. He wrote down "A Twist of The Wrist" on a paper and ask me to find this book and understand it. I did and I'm glad.

A boring look inside. But excitement starts when you where thinking on how would it'd be if you are on you bike. Personally, I say the book helps a lot on my riding technique. It would not be as fun as having a teacher or a personal coach, but the theory inside already helps you to explore and experiment what it'll be like to take a perfect corner. But it's not just about cornering. It's more about self control and awareness.

Keith other product doesn't just end on a book. I purchase the AudioCD for A Twist of The Wrist Volume II which is just the same as reading the book itself. I would recommend getting the Volume II rather than the first one. But it's never a lost to have them both. Other books and DVD also available from him.

It's never important to me to be the fastest rider on the track, because I'm not racing. But I love riding. And I like anything that's fast. So to be fast on the track, it's not just about opening up the throttle and have the meanest & powerful machine you could find. It's all about the technique. And a good rider or racer knows them. Let's be one!

Well I've already ordered this exhaust for my new bike, initially I want to get the Akrapovic full system but alas I couldn't afford the price tag so I opted for the G.P.R full system since it provides the closest performance gains as to Akrapovic. The G.P.R cost RM7k but it still cheap when compare it to the Akra's RM17k. Well I dont think of it as RM7k spent just RM10k saved.

I've also choose G.P.R because of its racing pedigree this brand has already proven it worth where it matters the most - Moto GP.

This Italian made exhaust claims a reduction of weight achieved by 10kg, with an increase of 7hp in power.

I'll bet the many more kilos is coming off me since I've to cut down on everything to afford my new 'Orange Beast'.

Eddy couldn't stop talking about this shop ever since he got back from Penang last month, so out of curiosity I decided to check this place out. I asked Eddy to tag along as long as he promised me that we're not going to end up on the wrong side of the border, he cheekily agreed.

When I arrived there he introduced me to Kenny the owner of Planet Cycle Shop the authorized dealer of KTM for the Asia Pacific Region. I must admit that I was impressed with Eddy's networking, because everywhere he goes he can arrange sweet deals for you. I heard that his connection even stretches beyond the border. Maybe some of us can testifies to this hehehe

the food in this Damansara Specialist is great, even my kids love it.

Anyway its just a minor surgery, where 2 wire is insert into my wrist to stabilised the radius. A true biker will experience a fractured bones once in his lifetime thats what Doohan say. This is my fifth fall from a bike and my second on a superbike. My third time hospitalised, first due to dengue fever, second a fractured wrist, fell from a scooter. For fellow bikers dont ever think that youre man of steel, a simple highside, will throw you out the bike like a wild horse, its a matter of second and you dont have time to plan on how youre going to land. So ride safely. Alhamdulillah, before the incident i manage to performed sunat hajat & dhuha prayer, if not maybe will be worse than this. Maybe God want me to rest for a while to be with my family.

Maybe he want me to realised how much my wife loves me. Now my wife become my right hand, she chauffered me wherever i wanna go, i just cannot imagine if i have to live this life all alone, even wearing my shirt its a painstaking process during the first week. So take care of your wife frens. yang sedap kat luar tu hanya sementara saja.

Good thing about paying first class is that you can have it all including LCD TV and DVD player. I played SBK world championship 2008 all nite. But the best part i dont have to pay coz my insurance medical card cover it all. i still got another limit of RM1,485,000-00 left, i think its enough to cover any illness ,nauzubillah, if i live long enough. at least i dont have to beg from my children.
