MotoGP Sepang F1 Circuit 2008 - Part II

Okay... Abg Rahman book us the corporate suite, no. 7 to be exact. It a long way walk from the gate to the suite. The Sepang straight is 927.543 meters, so the walk is like almost the same distance, with the hot weather plus the gear. I was thinking of keeping the gear there first then only I'll enjoy walking around.

The concierge is really friendly & professional. He never put away his smile thought out the whole day. Muahahaha.....

It's my first time to be in the suite. Last year it was the K1 grandstand. But the K1 is where you can feel the action is very very close.

After trimming down our body temperature in the air conditioned suite, me, Bedah and Pojie plan to go for a walk. Ah Meng give me a call and ask to help him get the MSS pass from Sifoo Is. I volunteered. So we walk to the across the track through the tunnel and get to the side of the pit.

Ah... the only thing that stand in our way from getting to the starting grid is that gate and the blue uniform. Pojie is planning an escape plan.

This is the allowed pass. Next year I want to get this poster and start printing my own pass. I'm sure they can't tell the difference.

Quite crowded at the grandstand area. But this is just half of it. We are placed in the other side of the track. It covers turn 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. Other turn can be watch from the monitor screen.

Uhh... how I wish I could get a collection of tyre like this.

Even the BMW M6 struggles to keep up with the MotoGPs. At the first lap, when the last bikes stars to enter turn 15, the M6 is just exiting turn 9.

Crash bike are sent to the end of the pit area.

We have the opportunity to pose ourselves like the public trying to pose on our bike.
Same same huh?

Ouch... let me know where you throw the rim please.
And that brake caliper should take 14Gs out of your bank account.

Sports shooting is too damn expensive.
All those camera and lens they carrying could easily reach up to Rm 400K.

Bedah D700. Hmm...

Lorenzo walking pass us while our fingers are missing from the snap button.
.
.

The Kentucky Kid.
.
.

Huhu.... is it true, Randy Mamola is in town too?
"Randy!" Bedah shout... he looked.
.
.

Toseland entering his bunker.
.
.

Rossi is cheered and escorted to the staring grid.
He shows an outstanding sportsmanship.
.
.

We are still too amazed with what we're seeing, and still have that finger cramp.
Stupid!

These marshall is up for a surprise by the end of the race.

Ah Meng actually went to get some pass for us to enter the pit. Since I'm with Bedah and Pojie, getting 3 passes is actually like an impossible mission. We waited the whole 125cc and 250cc race hoping to get through that gate. But once we saw Rossi going to the grid, it's either be gone or gone forever. We come short to wait another second. We left. Huhuhu...

So, back to the suite.

Najib who looks like the concierge guy, educated his wife about MotoGP. He always like that one...

The crowd at the other end...

Pedrosa and Rossi is back to back on the early lap...

Dovizioso not giving them a hard time enough... but made fantastic shows with the Kentucky Kid.

Every angle are covered by this monitor. Just nice up to 40 person. Cold soda included.

Lap times, statistics and positions are all display in real-time.
Woooowwww....

The famous incident at SIC after the race.
I pity that boy, but again it is a valuable lesson to him.
And a lesson he should have.
But from the looks of it, he's not learning anything.
So, I pity that boy.

Look.. look.. see.. see... How we enjoyed the show after the race.
Don't bother commenting on Pojie.

Mr. Badrul... postmortem after the race.

Mr. Khairul...

Mr. Leftover.

Woohooo... Nabil pun ada... Lu fikir la sendiri!

Crowd after the race. MSS race are in progress at this time.
The sky looks like it's gonna rain... but Bomoh hujan still have some more tricks left, it's not happening soon enough.

Nice time to shop for a gear..

Custom bikes are also on display.

Really an eye cather.

So is this... not sure what note on that wheel. Too big to be a parking ticket.

No clucth, no brakes, no odometer, no cable, no mudguard, no cables, no chain, no engine, no gearbox. Yes.... it's a bicycle.

Wah... I'm shocked! The F800GS is in town. I want one!
Wow! Price ar RM79.9K (err... that's like USD $22,640.97) it is quite cheap for some guys.
Yeah... right.

I never like the styling.. but I still love it.

Pretty ass.

Wah... Drooling and dreaming.
But keep them coming.
I want one.

I'm liking it... so I post more of it.
This is a true touring colour.

Lefty bike.

Simple.. but ain't cheap.

The sibling... F650GS. Will not be available as new here. Kamal from BMW said there will be only 10 which will be use in the launching, price new at RM71K, it'll be sold as used for RM66K.
Quite a bargain... but will be quite hard to sell if the F800GS is already in town.

Can-am the three legged spider.

It even have a boot/trunk.

999cc if I'm not mistakem.
They'll open up a 3S (sales, services and spares) center later next year somewhere at Sunway. Might boost some sale, but the Spider it self are not that convenient for Malaysian. It doesn't solve anything.

Belt drive.

Time to go.. That Bedah end can will end tomorrow (I just got his IM, his getting the MIVV). Huhu... Lovely. Would be nice if I can blog it.

Fino is smart. He purposely left his bike with just a liter of petrol left. That way if there's ever been his bike get stolen, that guy will have the same episode like Bedah.

The Petronas Petrol Station Sepang are packed. We are heading to Bagan Lalang. Abg Rahman belanja lagi... The dinner is supposed to be with Vendetta Motor Club from Indonesia for RM40 per head, Hmm... moga abg Man murah rezeki selalu.

Still waiting for some members filling up. Long Q means long time.

Qued and ready to roll. I'll tell the story in the next part.
