Pink Challengger's Ride : A Tag Along with MAFTS Bikers

Abang Aziz and Epol are members of MAFTS, Motorcycle Associations of Federal State and Selangor. They joined together on a well organized trip to Melaka for a breast cancer awareness by the Breast Cancer Association of Federal States & Selangor. It was on the 30th November 2008, and I haven't got the time to blog about it until now. Me and Bedah tag along but Bedah misses the morning alarm. He then joined us at Melaka in the afternoon.


The meeting point was at Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee. Epol meet me at my house and we cruise along to the place. Upon arrival, we kinda not expecting the crowd will be this big.

An awareness program like this helps a lot on getting funds and sponsors. But their main agenda is to make awareness among the public, especially the female, so the main point is to saves lives :-). Thumbs up for they effort and willingness. People should take this as a good example.

Off they go.


We wait for the group to reassemble le at Shell Tol Sungai Besi. Epol and Abg Aziz planning to overtake everyone. Hehehe.. Just kidding. They are already fast bikers.


Some more bikers grouping. All kind of bikes are invited. I count head at least about 80 bikers from KL. More to come from Melaka and Singapore that had Melaka street give way for us all.


We stop at Air Keroh tol plaza to regroup again.


The new Ducati 696 are in sight too.


So then they came...


Abg Aziz FJR1300. An awesome sport touring machine.


One bike got my attention.

We then convoy to Dataran Pahlawan. I must say it close to 150 bikes along the road. At Dataran Pahlawan we are free of our own agenda. Me, Epol and Abg Aziz go and get our launch. Bedah then join in. Moments after we took our own route and cruise along Melaka. We had a cendol and Melaka Jam Besar.


We meet a nice PakCik who gives us a lot of tips on Melaka streets and police. Such a cheerful fella. Epol and Bedah loves to have memories with him. I'm sure he's famous in the Melaka walkway.


Cendol Jam Besar Melaka are always busy. Hardly who can get a sit to enjoy them. But a few minutes wait not a big deal to enjoy them.


Lovely taste. Especially in the hot afternoon.

My GPS doesn't work well here. I loaded the malfreemaps.com version and the coverage of Melaka is minimal. As I depended on my GPS a lot now, I kinda lost without one. Parking on street doesn't feel that safe, so we kinda dried out to places to go.

Got back to KL late evening. It was fun.
