The 1198 is a race bike, pure and simple. It is immediately recognisable for its purposeful, no-nonsense attitude.

The engine is almost identical to the 1098R, though Ducati’s claim of 170bhp is 10bhp less than the 1098R. Hmm can you imagine the R version of this bike?
